Paraguay national under-20 football team represents Paraguay in international football competitions such as FIFA U-20 World Cup and South American Youth Football Championship.
The team's most successful period was mostly during 2001 to 2003 and once again in 2006, achieving Fourth place at the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship before winning back-to-back tournaments at the Milk Cup in 2002 and 2003 and once again in 2006. [1] Paraguay also won the 2002 SBS Cup disputed in Shizuoka Japan. [2]
The under-20 Paraguay national football team has seen and delivered along the years many of Paraguay's best talents such as Juan Bautista Agüero, Julio César Romero, Roberto Cabañas, Paulo Da Silva, Justo Villar, Salvador Cabañas and Roque Santa Cruz.
The team has participated in 8 events of the FIFA World Youth Championship and the best performance came in the 2001 World Cup held in Argentina, when Paraguay finished in the fourth place. The best performance at the South American level came in 1971 when they won the South American Youth Football Championship (also known as "Juventud de América"), along with four runners-up finishes in 1964, 1967, 1985 and 2009.
Paraguay has qualified for 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup that was held in Egypt.

The Paraguay national football team represents Paraguay in men's international football competitions, and are controlled by the Paraguayan Football Association. Paraguay is a member of CONMEBOL. The Albirroja has qualified for eight FIFA World Cup competitions, with their best performance coming in 2010 when they reached the quarter-finals. A regular participant at the Copa América, Paraguay have been crowned champions of the competition on two occasions. Paraguay's highest FIFA World Rankings was 8th and their lowest was 103. Paraguay was awarded second place with Best Move of the Year in 1996 for their rise in the FIFA Rankings.

Salvador Cabañas Ortega is a Paraguayan former professional footballer who played as a striker.
Club Olimpia is a Paraguayan sports club based in the city of Asunción. The club promotes the practice of various sports with most importance given to the football, Rugby and basketball sides, the former being the highest priority and most successful. They were founded on July 25, 1902 by a group of young Paraguayans, and the name stems from the idea of its principal founding member, William Paats, a Dutchman based in Paraguay, who is considered the father of Paraguayan football for having introduced the practice of the sport in the South American country. Internationally, the club is referred to as Olimpia Asunción in order to distinguish itself from Latin American football clubs of the same name.
Francisco Javier "Chiqui" Arce Rolón is a retired Paraguayan footballer and coach. He played at the right defender position, competing a total of 61 times for the Paraguayan national team between 1995 and 2004. He is currently the manager of Cerro Porteño.

Club Sol de América is a Paraguayan sports club, mostly known for its football team. The club is located in Barrio Obrero, Paraguay, and it was founded in 1909. The stadium Sol de America uses for most of its first division games is located in the suburb city of Villa Elisa on the border of the capital city, Asunción. Rodrigo Roman Burgos is a Paraguayan football defensive midfielder who plays for Resistencia in the Paraguayan División Intermedia. At Talleres de Córdoba, Burgos first achieved ascension from Argentina's Torneo Federal A to the Primera B Nacional, and then to the Primera División Argentina. Burgos has amassed 17 Copa Libertadores appearances and 1 Copa Sudamericana appearance. He was runner-up with Paraguay at the 2009 South American Youth Championship.

UAA is the fútsal club in the sports department at the Universidad Autónoma de Asunción located in Asunción, the capital city of Paraguay and competes in the Asociación Paraguaya de Fútbol's fútsal league. The UAA fields both a Men's and Female's team. The UAA's Men's team has been crowned champion of Paraguay on two occasions, qualifying and participating at the Fútsal Copa Libertadores and defeating traditional teams such as Boca Juniors, River Plate and Peñarol. The UAA Female's team has been crowned champion of Paraguay on various occasions, defeating traditional Paraguayan teams such as Cerro Porteño, Olimpia Asunción and Nacional Asunción.
Ulises Coronel is a Paraguayan footballer who plays as a midfielder. He played for Cerro Porteño and Atlético Colegiales between 2017 and 2019. In 2015, Coronel was a member of the Paraguay U17 national team.
