Eden Valley is a small South Australian town in the Barossa Ranges. It was named by the surveyors of the area after they found the word "Eden" carved into a tree. Eden Valley has an elevation of 460 metres and an average annual rainfall of 716.2mm. Eden Valley is in the Barossa Council local government area, the state electoral district of Schubert and the federal divisions of Barker and Mayo.
Mintaro is a historic town in the eastern Clare Valley, east of the Horrocks Highway, about 126 kilometres north of Adelaide, South Australia. The town lies at the south-eastern corner of the Hundred of Clare, within the Clare Valley wine region. Established in 1849, Mintaro is situated on land which was bought originally by Joseph and Henry Gilbert, which they sub-divided into 80 allotments.

It was the first vineyard established in what is now the Eden Valley wine region and the first to plant Riesling vines in Australia. Pewsey Vale has become one of Australia’s leading producers of commercial riesling, with its signature wine being the Contours Riesling.

The Clare Valley is a valley located in South Australia about 100 kilometres north of Adelaide in the Clare and Gilbert Valleys council area. It is the river valley formed by the Hutt River but is also strongly associated with the roughly parallel Hill River. The valley is traversed by the Horrocks Highway and the towns in the valley along that route from south to north are Auburn, Leasingham, Watervale, Penwortham, Sevenhill and Clare. The geographical feature has given rise to the Clare Valley wine region designation, a notable winegrowing region of Australia.
Buchfelde is now a suburb of Gawler, South Australia, on the northern outskirts of Adelaide in South Australia. A property in the area was settled in 1848 by Dr. Richard von Schomburgk and his brother Otto, and is named after their financial benefactor Leopold von Buch who helped them flee Germany. The name was changed from Buchfelde to Loos in 1918 after a town in France which was the site of a battle in 1915. This was to remove a "name of enemy origin". The name returned to Buchfelde in November 1990.

Australia Plains is a small town in the Regional Council of Goyder in South Australia. The post office, school and church have all closed. The current boundaries for the Bounded Locality were established in August 2000.

Tothill Creek is a locality in the Mid North of South Australia. it is in the District Council of Clare and Gilbert Valleys, 16 kilometres east of Saddleworth. It was named for Charles Tothill, who held land under an occupation licence from 1843. The area was part of Anlaby Station.
