Pyroderces is a genus of cosmet moths (family Cosmopterigidae). It belongs to subfamily Cosmopteriginae. Some authors include Anatrachyntis here.
Dichomeris is a genus of moths in the family Gelechiidae erected by Jacob Hübner in 1818.
Hypatima is a genus of the twirler moth family (Gelechiidae). Among these, it belongs to a distinct lineage, which is variously treated as tribe Chelariini in subfamilies Dichomeridinae, Gelechiinae, or even Pexicopiinae, and historically was considered a subfamily in its own right, Chelariinae. Of this lineage, Hypatima – under its junior synonym Chelaria – is the type genus. This genus has numerous species, but its exact limits are not quite clear. This genus occurs mainly in the Southern Hemisphere, though one of the better-known species is the only member of this genus native to Europe, the lobster-clawed moth.
Lecithocera is a genus of moths in the lecithocerid subfamily Lecithocerinae. The genus was erected by Gottlieb August Wilhelm Herrich-Schäffer in 1853.
Anatrachyntis is a genus of moths in the family Cosmopterigidae. Some authors include it in Pyroderces.
Macrobathra is a genus of moths in the family Cosmopterigidae. Most species are endemic to Australia.
Erechthias is a genus of the fungus moth family, Tineidae. Therein, it belongs to the subfamily Erechthiinae, of which it is the type genus. The exact circumscription of this genus is still disputed, but it may encompass more than 150 species.
Opogona is a genus of the fungus moth family, Tineidae. Therein, it belongs to the subfamily Hieroxestinae. As it includes Opogona omoscopa, the type species of the now-abolished genus Hieroxestis, it is the type genus of its subfamily.
Monopis is a genus of the fungus moth family, Tineidae. Therein, it belongs to the nominate subfamily, Tineinae.
Anatrachyntis incertulella, the pandanus flower moth, is a small cosmet moth species. It belongs to subfamily Cosmopteriginae. This was the first "micromoth" species to be described from Hawaiʻi. The type specimens were collected there by the 1820s Beechey expedition and described by the English entomologist Francis Walker in 1864; they are now in the British Museum of Natural History.
Barea is a genus of moths of the family Oecophoridae. The genus was erected by Francis Walker in 1864.
Pyroderces aellotricha, also known as the Cosmet moth, is a moth of the family Cosmopterigidae. It is found in New Zealand, in Australia and the Cook Islands.
Dryadaula are a genus of moths belonging to the family Tineidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1893, and it belongs to the subfamily or family Dryadaulidae, according to most recent taxonomies.
Pyroderces apparitella is a species of moth in the family Cosmopterigidae. It is endemic to New Zealand and has been observed in the North Island where it is regarded by some as being not common. The preferred habitat of this species is native forests and residential gardens. Adults are on the wing in December and January and the species is attracted to light.
Xyloryctidae is a family of moths contained within the superfamily Gelechioidea described by Edward Meyrick in 1890. Most genera are found in the Indo-Australian region. While many of these moths are tiny, some members of the family grow to a wingspan of up to 66 mm, making them giants among the micromoths.
Cerconota is a genus of moths in the family Depressariidae. In 1991, I. W. B. Nye and David Stephen Fletcher included it in the family Oecophoridae and the subfamily Stenomatinae. It was later placed in the family Elachistidae and subfamily Stenomatinae by Ronald W. Hodges, in Niels Peder Kristensen (1999). Other classifications placed them in the Elachistidae or Oecophoridae, but they actually seem to belong to the Depressariidae.
Agriophara is a genus of moths in the subfamily Stenomatinae. The genus was erected by Rudolph Rosenstock in 1885.
Tingena is a genus of the concealer moth family (Oecophoridae). This genus is endemic to New Zealand.
Trachypepla is a genus of moths of the family Oecophoridae. It was circumscribed in 1883 by Edward Meyrick. The species within this genus are indigenous to Australia and New Zealand.
