Rated PG is a compilation album of songs for film soundtracks by English rock musician Peter Gabriel. The track selection spans over 30 years of music created for the individual films, with "Walk Through the Fire" from 1984 being the earliest and "Everybird" from 2017 being the most recent.
The album includes many unreleased tracks, some of which are alternate versions of previously released songs. The previously unreleased songs in any form outside of their respective films are "Everybird", "Speak (Bol)", and "Nocturnal". [2]
Originally only released on limited-edition vinyl on Record Store Day (13 April 2019) through Real World, it eventually became available on digital streaming services later that month to accommodate demand. [1] [3] A digital single, "This is Party Man", was released before the album. It is a new version of the song and features new lyrics from Peter Gabriel. [4] A video for "Everybird" was released on 12 July 2019 featuring footage from the animated film for which it was originally created. [5] In May 2020 it was announced that the album would be made available for general release on vinyl and CD on 12 June 2020. [6]

In Time: The Best of R.E.M. 1988–2003 is the second official compilation album released by R.E.M. Issued in 2003, it includes tracks from their Warner Bros. Records era, from 1988's Green to 2001's Reveal, as well as two new recordings and two songs from movie soundtracks. The album was the tenth-best-selling album of 2003 in the UK, and the 50th-best-selling album of the 2000s in the UK.
Music from the Motion Picture Pulp Fiction is the soundtrack to Quentin Tarantino's 1994 film Pulp Fiction, released on September 27, 1994, by MCA Records. No traditional film score was commissioned for Pulp Fiction. The film contains a mix of American rock and roll, surf music, pop and soul. The soundtrack is equally untraditional, consisting of nine songs from the film, four tracks of dialogue snippets followed by a song, and three tracks of dialogue alone. Seven songs featured in the film were not included in the original 41-minute soundtrack.
Coyote Ugly is a 2000 American musical comedy-drama film based on the Coyote Ugly Saloon chain. It was directed by David McNally, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman, and written by Gina Wendkos. Featuring the songs present on Peter Quill's mixtape in the film, the album was released by Hollywood Records on July 29, 2014. A separate film score album, Guardians of the Galaxy (Original Score), composed by Tyler Bates, was also released by Hollywood Records on the same date, along with a deluxe version featuring both albums. The soundtrack album reached number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, becoming the first soundtrack album in history consisting entirely of previously released songs to top the chart.

Amy is an original motion picture soundtrack to the 2015 film of the same name. It was released by Island Records on 30 October 2015. It is the second posthumous compilation album by English singer and songwriter Amy Winehouse. It features original tracks, covers, previously unreleased versions and demos that were included in the documentary and also features music by Brazilian composer Antônio Pinto. The Name of the Wave by British musician and producer William Orbit also makes an appearance on the soundtrack. The soundtrack peaked at number 19 on the UK Albums Chart.
Welcome to the Blackout is a live album by the English singer-songwriter David Bowie recorded on the Isolar II Tour. It had a limited vinyl release on 21 April 2018 for Record Store Day. A more widely available CD edition followed on 29 June 2018, along with digital releases for download and streaming.
Joe Strummer 001 is a career-spanning compilation album by the English musician Joe Strummer. The 32 song album was released on 28 September 2018 by Ignition Records and features 12 previously unreleased songs, as well as known favourites from his recordings with the 101ers, the Mescaleros and his extensive soundtrack work along with alternate versions of previously released songs. The album was preceded by the singles "London Is Burning", one of the last songs Strummer recorded before his death in 2002, and "Rose of Erin", an unreleased song used in the 1993 film When Pigs Fly.
Bohemian Rhapsody: The Original Soundtrack is the soundtrack album to the Queen biographical film of the same name. The soundtrack features many of the band's songs and unreleased recordings including tracks from their legendary concert at Live Aid in 1985. The soundtrack was released by Hollywood Records and Virgin EMI Records on 19 October 2018, on CD, cassette and digital formats. The soundtrack was later released on 8 February 2019, as a vinyl double album specially cut at Abbey Road Studios. A limited and much sought after double picture disc edition of the album, as well as a 7" coloured single featuring the original "Bohemian Rhapsody"/"I'm in Love with My Car" pairing, was also released on Record Store Day, 13 April 2019. The disc artwork takes its inspiration from the photography of Denis O'Regan. In November 2019, the soundtrack received an American Music Award for Top Soundtrack.
The Dirt Soundtrack is the soundtrack album to the 2019 biographical film of the same name by Mötley Crüe, inspired by the book The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band by the band and Neil Strauss. It was their tenth compilation album. The soundtrack was released by Mötley Records and Eleven Seven Records on March 22, 2019, on CD, LP, and digital formats. It is the band’s first release in over a decade since their 2009 Greatest Hits album.
Cinderella (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack album to the 2021 film, Cinderella. The soundtrack was released by Epic Records in the United States, Columbia Records in the United Kingdom, and Sony Music labels globally. "Million to One", performed by Camila Cabello, was released on July 21, 2021, as the first promotional single of the soundtrack. "Somebody to Love", performed by Nicholas Galitzine, was released on August 3, 2021 as an instant grant second promotional single, along with the pre-order for the album. "Dream Girl (Nile Rodgers Remix)", performed by Idina Menzel, was released on September 9, 2021, as the third promotional single.
