Renuka Singh Saruta (born 5 January 1964) is an Indian politician from Chhattisgarh who currently is a Member of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly representing Bharatpur-Sonhat. She previously served as the Minister of State for Tribal Affairs of India from 30 May 2019 to 7 December 2023. [1] She is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. [2]
Renuka Singh started her political career as a member of the Ramanuj Nagar District Panchayat. Singh also served as the BJP Mandal President in Ramanuj Nagar. [3]
Renuka was first elected to Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly in 2003 and became Minister of State (Independent Charge) of Woman &Child development and Family welfare in Government of Chhattisgarh and again got re-elected in 2008. [4] [5] In 2013 Assembly election,she lost to senior Congress leader Khelsai Singh. In the 2019 general election,she again contested against Khelsai Singh and won by margin of 1,57,873 votes and became Union Minister of State of Ministry of Tribal Affairs. [6] [7]
She successfully contested the 2023 Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly election from Bharatpur-Sonhat Assembly constituency,becoming a member of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly for the third time. [8]

Digvijaya Singh is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha. He is Ex-General Secretary of the Indian National Congress party's All India Congress Committee. Previously,he had served as the 14th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh,a central Indian state,for two terms from 1993 to 2003. Prior to that he was a minister in Chief Minister Arjun Singh's cabinet between 1980 and 1984. In 2019 Lok Sabha elections he was defeated by Pragya Singh Thakur for Bhopal Lok Sabha seat.

Anusuiya Uikey is a politician and currently serving as the governor of Manipur &formerly of Chhattisgarh. She was elected to the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Damua in the 1985 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election as a member of the Indian National Congress. She became Minister for Women and Child Development in Arjun Singh cabinet. By 1998,she had crossed over to BJP and was its losing candidate in 1998 Vidhan Sabha election from Damua. He represents Chandni Chowk in Delhi as a Member of Parliament in the 17th Lok Sabha. He was elected to the office of chairperson of executive board of the World Health Organization from May 22,2020. Vardhan has been prominent in the Indian government's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. He later resigned from his cabinet post ahead of the cabinet reshuffle in July 2021.
