Rip Off Britain is a BBC One series which exposes Britain's rip-offs and helps consumers. It began on 30 November 2009, presented by former news journalists Angela Rippon, Gloria Hunniford and Jennie Bond. Newsreader Julia Somerville replaced Bond from series three. It has two spin-off series, Rip Off Britain Food and Rip Off Britain: Holidays. Rip Off Britain Live is shown for a week twice a year. Louise Minchin replaced Angela Rippon from series seventeen.

Format

The presenters investigate viewers' stories of being ripped-off, expose some of the rip-offs, and seek answers and, where appropriate, refunds or compensation. Numerous consumer experts advise consumers on their rights in short films within the programmes and at "Pop Ups" around the country. Experts include Simon Calder, David McClelland, Kate Hardcastle, Sylvia Rook, Helen Dewdney, Adam French, Gary Rycroft, Sarah Pennels, Paul Lewis and Martyn James.

Eggheads is a British quiz show produced by 12 Yard. It was first broadcast in November 2003 chaired by Dermot Murnaghan. In 2008, Jeremy Vine became joint chair, and subsequently sole chair. The show has inspired three spinoff series: Are You an Egghead? (2008), Revenge of the Egghead (2014) and Make Me an Egghead (2016). There have also been episodes of the regular series featuring teams of celebrities in their own short series, with their own rolling prize fund.

<i>Vigil</i> (TV series) British police procedural television serial

Vigil is a British police procedural drama television series created by Tom Edge and produced by World Productions. The series premiered on BBC One on 29 August 2021. The first series stars Suranne Jones, Rose Leslie, Shaun Evans, Paterson Joseph, Gary Lewis and Martin Compston, and is set in Scotland, primarily onboard HMS Vigil, a ballistic missile submarine of the Royal Navy.

Morning Live is a magazine programme that airs on weekday mornings between 9:30 am and 10:45 am on BBC One.
