There is a small but recognisable Russian community in India which comprises Indian citizens of Russian heritage as well with Russian expatriates and migrants residing in India. According to the Russian government, 845 Russian citizens are registered as living in India. [1]
The state of Goa have received many Russian immigrants in the last few years. The Russian exodus to Goa has become a trend as many young people who are unhappy with life back home are moving there for good in search of inner peace. Cheap daily charter flights are now carrying thousands of Russians to the Indian State of Goa famous for its beaches and laid-back mood. Many Russians have also set up businesses in Goa. [2] Many beach side restaurants post their signboards in English and Russian to attract Russian-speaking customers.

Dabolim Airport is an international airport serving Panaji capital of the state of Goa, India. It is operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) as a civil enclave in an Indian Navy naval airbase named INS Hansa. Go Goa Gone is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language zombie action comedy film directed by Raj and D.K. The film features Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, Vir Das, Anand Tiwari and Puja Gupta. It was released on 10 May 2013. Almost one third of the film was shot in Mauritius. It is the first Indian zombie film and has also been described as India's first stoner film. Go Goa Gone was successful at the box office. It received mixed reviews, but it received praise for its pacing, editing and use of zombies, though the screenplay and the second act received criticism. A sequel titled Go Goa Gone 2 is set for a release by 2025.
