On March 18, 2021, an anime television series adaptation produced by Sunrise was announced and licensed by Funimation outside of Asia. [6] Following Sony's acquisition of Crunchyroll, the series was moved to Crunchyroll. [7] Medialink licensed the anime in South and Southeast Asia. [8] Hiroyuki Nishimura directed the series and Yōichi Katō, Toshizō Nemoto and Akiko Inoue wrote the series' scripts, with Nishimura and Yuji Ito designing the characters, and Hironori Anazawa composing the series' music. [4] The series aired from July 1 to December 23, 2021. [6] [2] From episodes 1–13, the first opening theme is "Red Criminal" by The Oral Cigarettes, who previously performed the game's theme song, "Dream In Drive", [9] while the first ending theme is "Fire" by Yamato(.S). [10] From episodes 14–26, the second opening theme is "MACHINEGUN" by The Oral Cigarettes, while the second ending theme is "Stranger" by Ayumu Imazu. [11]

On August 5, 2021, Funimation premiered an English dub of the series on their streaming service. [3]

Aika R-16: Virgin Mission is a Japanese three-episode OVA series animated by Studio Fantasia. Developed as a prequel to the Agent Aika OVA series, it was released on the tenth anniversary of said series. It takes place ten years prior to the events of Agent Aika and follows the story of Aika's first mission when she is 16 years old. The series was followed by a three-episode OVA sequel called Aika Zero where she is 19 years old. As with its predecessor, both series are known for their abundance of fan service in the form of panty shots and nudity. Aika R-16: Virgin Mission was acquired by Bandai Entertainment.

<i>Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens</i> Japanese manga series & its franchise

Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eri Takenashi. The manga was serialized in Ichijinsha's Comic Rex magazine from the January 2006 issue to the September 2017 issue. A 13-episode anime adaptation produced by A-1 Pictures aired between October and December 2008 in Japan. An original video animation (OVA) episode was released in May 2009. Bandai Entertainment licensed the manga and anime series, including the OVA.

Under The Dog is a 2016 Japanese original video animation. Originally a collaborative project between Creative Intelligence Arts and Kinema Citrus, and later a project solely produced by Kinema Citrus, it is a Kickstarter-funded anime project, released on August 1, 2016. The anime was supposed to be set in Neo Tokyo in the year 2025, five years after a terrorist attack on the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. To combat future threats, the United Nations force teenagers possessing special abilities into fighting those threats. One member, Anthea Kallenberg, seeks to discover her true identity.
