Seminole County is a county located in the central portion of the U.S. state of Florida. As of the 2010 census, the population was 422,718. Its county seat and largest city is Sanford. Seminole County is part of the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford, Florida Metropolitan Statisticial Area.

As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 33,342, representing an increase of 7,026 (26.7%) from the 26,316 counted in the 2000 Census. State Road 434 is a major roadway in the Central Florida area. Starting at SR 424 just north of Orlando city limits, the road runs north as Forest City Road through Forest City before dropping the name at the Seminole County line. SR 434 continues north and east through Altamonte Springs and Longwood before turning south and east through Winter Springs and Oviedo. SR 434 is called Central Avenue when it first turns south towards downtown Oviedo. After going through downtown Oviedo, SR 434 is called Alafaya Trail from its intersection with Mitchell Hammock Road south to the Orange County line to its end at SR 50. The road continues south as Alafaya Trail only without the state road designation. Alafaya meets with State Road 50 in Union Park, FL.

Orlando City U-23 was an American soccer team based in Lake Mary, Florida, United States. The FSView & Florida Flambeau is a for-profit newspaper owned by the Gannett Company that covers the on-campus events, happenings, and trends of the Florida State University as well as concerts, museum and art exhibits, movies, literature and poetry readings, and other events from the larger Tallahassee community. The Cross Seminole Trail is a pedestrian, bicycle, and equestrian trail in Seminole County, Florida just north of Orlando. The first segment opened in 2002. The current route begins in Oviedo and stretches into Winter Springs. An overpass was constructed in 2012, where the trail crosses State Road 434. The trail is 23 miles (37 km) long, or 34 miles (55 km) including the Orange County trail extension. The trail connects to Seminole Wekiva Trail in Lake Mary.
The Manawatū Standard is the daily paper for the Manawatu region based in Palmerston North with satellites in Feilding and Marton. The Manawatū Standard has been recognised as one of the best in New Zealand being a finalist in the 2008 Qantas Media Award for best regional daily newspaper; it won the same category in 2007. It also won Best Headline and Student Journalist of the Year at the Qantas Media Awards 2017.
Mickler's Floridiana was a bookseller in Florida started by Thomas Mickler and Georgine Mickler. The couple also ran Mickler House, a small publisher, from their Chuluota, Florida home. They had the largest collection of books on Florida subjects (Floridiana). Some of Mickler's sermon collection now resides at the University of Central Florida Library as the "Thomas and Georgine Mickler Sermon Collection 1880-1933." Thomas Mickler was also an avid map collector. His collection spanned from 1735 to 1995, and covered lands and waterways beyond Florida, as well as providing a historical record of Florida's development.
