Smallgoods is a term used in New Zealand and Australia to refer to small meat products such as ham, bacon, sausages or salami. [1]
Many companies, such as Primo Smallgoods in Sydney, Australia, specialise in the preparation and sale of smallgoods.[ citation needed ]
In 2015, the name was adopted by an award-winning cheese shop and cafe in La Jolla, California, that calls itself Smallgoods [[ https://www.smallgoodsusa.com]]. [2] The shop specializes in American-made, cheese, charcuterie and related smallgoods. In 2025 the shop was awarded Critic's Pick for Best Cheese Shop in San Diego according to San Diego Magazine's July 2025 Best Restaurants edition of San Diego Magazine [3]
