Suresh Pasi is Indian Politician and a member of 17th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh of India. He represents Jagdishpur constituency of Uttar Pradesh and is a member of Bharatiya Janata Party. He is current minister of state for U.P Housing & Development Board, Vocational Education and Skill Development in the government of Uttar Pradesh.

Early life and family background

Suresh Pasi was born at Pakargaon village of Tiloi, Amethi on 15 November 1981. He belongs to a middle-class family, his father Guru Prasad runs a hardware shop in Mohanganj, Uttar Pradesh. His wife, Sarita Devi was Block Pramukh of Tiloi during 2010–2015. His father Guru Prasad is Zilla Panchayat Member of Amethi District. He was educated at SSPN Inter College Tiloi.[ citation needed ]

He was the Minister of State, Parliamentary Affairs in 1999 and the Minister of State, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution from 1999 to 2001 in the Third Vajpayee ministry. He was elected as MP to 13th Lok Sabha from Basti in Uttar Pradesh. He was imprisoned in the emergency in 1975.

The Second ministry of Yogi Adityanath is the council of ministers in headed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, which was formed after 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election which was held in seven phases during February and March in the state. The results were declared on 10 March and this led to formation of 18th Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. The swearing-in ceremony was held at BRSABV Ekana International Cricket stadium, Gomti Nagar Extension in Lucknow.
