Swing Fever is a collaborative album by British singer Rod Stewart and English composer Jools Holland, released on 23 February 2024. It features Holland's Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, and contains covers of songs from the big band era.

Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic described it as "a record steeped in jump blues, boogie woogie, and other manners of swinging R&B. In form, it's not far removed from Stewart's Great American Songbook albums, generally relying on songs written prior to the onset of rock & roll". [1] Neil McCormick of The Telegraph found that "together Stewart and Holland tackle these classic tunes as if they are trying to set fire to the ballroom and burn the old folk's home to the ground" as "while there's nothing radical or new here, joy always sounds fresh, and Stewart sounds like he's having the time of his life". [4]
Jackie Hayden of Hot Press stated that "Stewart's age-worn and smoky voice can still deliver, as these 13 covers of classic big band numbers prove", writing that Holland "is no slouch either" with his contributions to "Sentimental Journey", "Them There Eyes" and "Frankie and Johnny". [2] Ed Power of i felt that "to take the attention away from Rod Stewart without once opening your mouth is quite an achievement. That's what Holland does throughout a vigorous yet subtly deficient collection." [3]
On the UK Albums Chart dated 1 March 2024, the album debuted at number one, which made it Holland's first number-one album and Stewart's 11th. [5]

Julian Miles Holland is an English pianist, bandleader, singer, composer and television presenter. He was an original member of the band Squeeze and has worked with many artists including Marc Almond, Joss Stone, Jayne County, Tom Jones, José Feliciano, Sting, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, George Harrison, David Gilmour, Ringo Starr, Bono, Rod Stewart and Ruby Turner.

Sultans of Swing: The Very Best of Dire Straits is the second greatest hits compilation by the British rock band Dire Straits, released on 19 October 1998 by Mercury Records internationally, and by Warner Bros. Records in the United States. The album was originally released, featuring liner notes by Robert Sandall, as both a single CD and a limited edition double CD, with the second CD containing live recordings from Mark Knopfler's first solo tour in 1996. A DVD of the same name was also released, featuring the music videos of all the songs on the single CD version, in addition to short interviews with Mark Knopfler about each song. U218 Singles is a greatest hits album by Irish rock band U2, released in November 2006. In most markets, the album contains 18 songs: 16 of their most successful and popular singles, and two new songs. The 17th track is a cover version of the Skids' "The Saints Are Coming", recorded with Green Day to benefit Hurricane Katrina charities. Time is the twenty-eighth studio album by Rod Stewart, it was released on 3 May 2013 in the UK, on 7 May in the US and Canada, and on 8 May in Japan under the title "Time: Toki no Tabibito" (タイム~時の旅人~). In May 2013, Stewart released Time, a rock album of his own original material. It marked a return to songwriting after what Stewart termed "a dark period of twenty years"; he said that writing his autobiography gave him the impetus to write music again. The album entered the top 10 in the US and entered the UK Albums Chart at No. 1, setting a new British record for the longest gap between chart-topping albums by an artist, as his last studio album to reach the top spot was A Night on the Town in 1976. The album was certified platinum in the UK on 16 August 2013 and double-platinum on 29 December 2017. Overall, the album was the No. 7 best-selling album of 2013 in the UK. In the United States, the album has sold 141,000 copies as of September 2015.

The album features Rod Stewart's "classic vocal tracks" overdubbed with new arrangements by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Also features 1971 chart toppers in both the UK and US "Maggie May" and "Reason to Believe". The release of You're In My Heart coincided with Stewart's biggest ever UK stadium tour throughout November and December 2019, a continuation of his hugely successful summer stadium tour. You're In My Heart also features "Stop Loving Her Today", a brand-new song, as well as a new recording of "It Takes Two" featuring Robbie Williams.
