Symplocos cochinchinensis is a species of flowering plant in the sapphire-berry family Symplocaceae, native to tropical and subtropical Asia. [1] The widespread Symplocos cochinchinensis subsp./var. laurina is now considered a synonym of Symplocos acuminata . [2]
