Te Kowhai Aerodrome( ICAO : NZTE) is a privately owned airfield located near the township of Te Kowhai in the Waikato region of New Zealand. It was the home of the microlight aircraft manufacturer Micro Aviation NZ until the death of the company's founder, Max Clear, in 2011.

The airfield was sold by the Clear family in August 2016 to an operating and development company called TK Airfield Land Ltd. [1]

In 2019, a Douglas DC-3 formerly used as an aerial topdressing aircraft, was moved to the aerodrome from its display at Mystery Creek Events Centre. It now serves as a gate guardian.

Mount Cook Aerodrome is an airport near Mount Cook Village, New Zealand. Mount Cook Tourist Company built a small airfield at Birch Hill Flat, which opened on 3 May 1936. Mount Cook Airline began scheduled passenger flights to the area in 1961. Regular commercial flights originally ceased in 2002, however from 23 December 2012 to 27 January 2013, Air New Zealand subsidiary Mount Cook Airline operated thrice weekly services from Mount Cook to Christchurch and Queenstown Airport. Air New Zealand decided not to resume the services for the 2013/2014 summer due to a lack of demand. In December 2019, Mount Cook Airline was merged into Air New Zealand and ceased operations.

Kaikohe Aerodrome is an airfield south-east of Kaikohe in the Northland region of New Zealand. Built in 1942 as a US Marines bomber base, is the largest grass strip in the Southern hemisphere used now by general aviation. Other than powered aircraft, gliders use the airfield, and an area next to the runways is used by model airplane flyers. There are skydiving operations as well, with a landing spot near the old terminal.
