The Survey Department further divides Telisai into twelve village subdivisions, namely: [5]

However, the Tutong District Office, which de facto administers the mukim and villages in Tutong District, only recognises three villages in Telisai, namely Bukit Beruang, Danau and Telisai. [1] These villages have their own village heads, whom handle matters pertaining to residency and community in respective villages. [4] As Keramut, Penapar Danau, Sungai Paku, Telamba and Tumpuan Ugas do not have designated village heads, the residents in these areas may deal on related matters with the chiefs of neighbouring Danau and Telisai.
