The 3rd The Beatz Awards was held at Muson Center in Lagos on December 16, 2017. On September 1, the organizers call for entries, to be submitted through its portal, from the year in review August 3, 2016 to September 30, 2017. [1] Nominees were revealed on October 26, 2017. [2] The live show was televised on STV, Nigezie TV, wapTV, TVC, and BEN Television.

In November 2013, Shay signed an endorsement deal with telecommunications service provider Etisalat. In July 2015, she signed a record deal with Island Records. Chris Alvin Sunday professionally known as Krizbeatz or KrizBeatz the drummer Boy, is a Nigerian record producer best known for producing Tekno his first single "Pana". Ranked 3rd on Pulse Nigeria's 2016 list of "Top 5 Best Nigerian Music Producers", KrizBeatz has worked majorly with Yemi Alade including several artistes like Oyibo Rebel, Skales, Lil Kesh and Koker while also releasing his own single titled "Erima" and the hit single "911" featuring Yemi Alade and Harmonize which further pushed his career to limelight. The song "911" currently has over 13 million views on YouTube.

She started her career with the first television appearance on Taste of Love and she has featured on many films including the multicultural romcom, Namaste Wahala in 2021 and the Netflix Nigerian original thriller, Blood Sisters in 2022.

Udoma Peter Kelvin Amba popularly known by his trademark It's Kel-P Vibes is a Nigerian record producer, singer and songwriter. He is best known for producing and co-writing the Grammy nominated world album African Giant in 2019. He is currently signed to Aristokrat Records, and Universal Music France, with a management deal with Jones Worldwide. Kel-P was credited by OkayAfrica, as one of the key figure who have helped take Afrobeats to new heights. In 2021, he co-produced the Grammy award winning Best Global Music Album Mother Nature by Angélique Kidjo, and Grammy nominated album Made in Lagos by Wizkid.

The Beatz Awards is a Nigerian awards music show first introduced on 13 November 2015, by Eliworld Int'l Limited, to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements of the creative minds behind the music production, business, and distribution.

The 1st The Beatz Awards was held at Muson Center in Lagos on December 17, 2015. Nominees were revealed on November 13, 2015. The live show was televised on STV, Nigezie TV, wapTV, TVC and BEN Television, with host Gordons, and Angel Ufuoma.

Naijaloaded is a Nigerian music website founded by Makinde Azeez in 2009. It was nominated for the 2017 and 2018 City People Entertainment Awards and 2016 The Beatz Awards for "Best Music Website".

The 4th The Beatz Awards tagged "The Quadrant", was held at Muson Center in Lagos on 21 November 2018. Nominees were revealed on October 26, 2017. The live show was televised on STV, Nigezie TV, wapTV, TVC, and BEN Television, and hosted by Kenny Blaq. Killertunes had the highest award winnings at The Beatz Awards, by securing 3 awards at the ceremony.

The 6th The Beatz Awards was held at Muson Center in Lagos on 28 November 2021. The organizers opened a portal for the public to submit entries on 4 August 2021, and recorded 2500 entries, on October 6. Nominees were revealed on October 29, 2021. The live show was televised on STV, Nigezie TV, wapTV, TVC, BEN Television, and MTV Base, and hosted by Victory Wilson, Boda Wasiu, and Saco. It celebrated entertainment personalities across 25 voting categories, with 3 honorary Awards (non-voting).

Marcel Larry Akunwata popularly known as Blaisebeatz or Blaise Beats, is a Nigerian record producer, and songwriter. He rose to stardom in 2020 with, the production hit "Pami" by DJ Tunez. His other production hits includes "Enjoy" by Tekno, "Sinner", "It Is What It Is", and "Mercy" by Adekunle Gold, "Call Me Every Day" by Chris Brown, "Buga" by Kizz Daniel, and "No Wahala" by 1da Banton. In 2022, he won the Afro Highlife Producer Of The Year and Afro Dancehall Producer Of The Year category at The Beatz Awards.
