The Name Chapter: Freefall is the fifth overall studio album by South Korean boy band Tomorrow X Together. It was released through Big Hit Music and Republic Records on October 13, 2023. The album contains a sole guest appearance from American pop rock band Jonas Brothers. It was supported by two singles: "Do It Like That", a collaboration with the Jonas Brothers, and "Chasing That Feeling". The song "Back for More" was also released before the album in a version that is a collaboration with Brazilian singer Anitta, but a solo version by the band is included on the album. [1] The album follows their 2023 extended play, The Name Chapter: Temptation , and was announced on August 29, 2023. [2]

Commercial performance

The album debuted at number one on the South Korean Circle Album Chart, Japanese Oricon Albums Chart, and Billboard Japan Hot Albums chart. It sold over 2.4 million copies in its first week of release in South Korea, with an additional 215,000 copies sold of its Weverse version. [3] It sold 225,000 copies in its first week in Japan. [4]

According to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI)'s Global Music Report for 2023, The Name Chapter: Freefall was the thirteenth best-selling album worldwide, having sold 2 million units. [A] [5]
