Vuosaari is a neighbourhood in the City of Helsinki, Finland. It is located by the sea in East Helsinki and with its area of 15.38 km2 (5.94 sq mi) is geographically the largest district in the city. It also has two Helsinki Metro stations, Rastila and Vuosaari
Arabianranta, sometimes simply Arabia, is a residential part of Helsinki, Finland. It is bound by Vanhankaupunginlahti bay from east, and connects to neighboring boroughs of Vanhakaupunki in north, Hermanni in south and Toukola and Kumpula in west. It is part of the greater Toukola region.

Itäkeskus is a quarter in the neighbourhood of Vartiokylä in Helsinki, Finland. The district's main attraction is the largest covered-in shopping mall in the Nordic countries, Itis, which make Itäkeskus as the most significant commercial center of East Helsinki. The district has a station on the Helsinki Metro, whose eastern entrance at the Tallinnanaukio square leads to the shopping centre. Itäkeskus has the eastern terminus of bus lines 500 and 550; the western terminus of line 500 is Munkkivuori and line 550 is Espoo's Westend bus station. Construction of the Jokeri light rail, which replaces bus line 550, began in 2019 and traffic is scheduled to begin in 2024. The most important road connection to the Helsinki central from Itäkeskus runs along Itäväylä.
Viikki is a neighbourhood of about 5,500 inhabitants in Helsinki, Finland. It is located at the bottom of Vanhankaupunginlahti bay, some 7–10 km from the city centre.
East Helsinki is an area in Helsinki, Finland, usually thought to comprise the city's eastern and south-eastern major districts, including the districts of Vartiokylä, Myllypuro, Mellunkylä, Vuosaari, Herttoniemi, Laajasalo and Kulosaari. With the exception of Kulosaari, the buildings in the area are relatively new – most have been built in the 1960s or later – and constitute relatively densely inhabited suburbs, except for the southern part of Laajasalo and most of Kulosaari. On the other side of the bridge to the west of Kulosaari is Helsinki Downtown, the so-called "South Helsinki". The most important road connection to the city central from East Helsinki with car or bus runs along Itäväylä.

The subdivisions include neighbourhoods, districts, major districts and postal code areas. The plethora of different official ways to divide the city is a source of some confusion to the inhabitants, as different kinds of subdivisions often share similar or identical names.
Cirrus is a high-rise cooperative apartment building in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Cirrus is the fourth tallest building in Finland with a height of 86 meters. The building, which is located in Vuosaari in East Helsinki, has 28 floors and 140 apartments. The proposal for this building originally included a public observation terrace and cafe, but they were never built.
Vuosaari Harbour is a seaport facility in Helsinki, Finland, opened in November 2008. It is also the 19th tallest building in Finland.
Vuosaari shipyard was a shipyard located in the district of Vuosaari in Helsinki, Finland. Built by the Finnish state-owned company Valmet Oy in the early 1970s, the shipyard delivered 33 newbuildings and participated in building around 100 other vessels before it was closed in 1987 following the bankruptcy of Wärtsilä Marine. Later, the longest dry dock in Finland was used by various ship repair companies until the construction of the new Vuosaari harbour cut the connection to the sea in 2004. Despite various plans to re-use the old dry dock, now located inside the harbour perimeter, it remained without use until the basin was backfilled in 2015–2016.
Mellunmäki has been a quarter of eastern Helsinki, Finland since 1946. Serious construction of the area began in 1950 and it was originally designed for 7000 inhabitants. There are over 8500 inhabitants in the area today (2013). Apart from the grocery stores Mellunmäki does not offer many services. Most people visit Kontula or Itäkeskus for services not offered by their home district. The metro station of Mellunmäki, the last stop on the line, is the world's northernmost metro station. There is a Fitness24Seven in the Metro station and a second hand shop next to it. Many buildings are being built in 2017, so the number of residents will rise after construction
West Harbour is a passenger and cargo harbour in the Jätkäsaari district of Helsinki, Finland, in the southwestern part of the Helsinginniemi peninsula. The Länsisatama harbour area also includes the Munkkisaaren laituri pier on the west side of Munkkisaari, used by cruiseliners. The harbour is operated by the Port of Helsinki.

Aurinkolahti is a young and fast-growing sub-neighbourhood of the East Helsinki neighbourhood of Vuosaari, in Helsinki, Finland. Aurinkolahti's original name was Mustalahti, but for marketing reasons the decision was made to update it.
Rastila is an eastern suburb in the Vuosaari district of Helsinki, Finland. Rastila lies to the north of the arterial road Vuotie ; to the south lies Meri-Rastila, which is often understood as part of Rastila. Rastila metro station opened in 1998. Rastila is mostly populated by families in detached houses, but around the station there are new blocks of flats for 2000 inhabitants.
Talinhuippu is a former dumping ground known as the Iso-Huopalahti dumping ground, and was one of the “big three” dumping grounds in Helsinki at the time it was in operation. The site is located at the boundary between Helsinki and Espoo and was in use from 1963 to 1979. It is located between Talinranta, the Tali Golf Course and the Vermo harness racing track, on the northern shore of the Laajalahti Bay, north of Tarvo Island and Finnish national road 1.
Vuosaarenhuippu is a recreational area in the northern part of Vuosaari in eastern Helsinki. Earlier it was the Vuosaari dumping ground and a place where land masses from construction sites was deposited. Through ecological restoration the area has been turned into a natural-like environment, the scale of which is unprecedented in the history of Helsinki. A large number of both flora and fauna inhabit the area. There are paths connecting the area to the nearby Mustavuori protected area.
Columbus is a shopping centre in Vuosaari, Helsinki, Finland, right next to the Vuosaari metro station. It is owned by Citycon. The centre was completed in August 1996. The centre has a total surface area of over 20,000 m2 (220,000 sq ft).
Vuotalo is a cultural centre located in Vuosaari, Helsinki, Finland north of the Mosaiikkitori square, near the Columbus shopping centre, the Vuosaari metro station, the Vuosaari sports hall and the Vuosaari high school. The building was designed by Mikko Heikkinen and Markku Komonen and it was completed in 2001.
Sompasaari is an island on the Kruunuvuorenselkä water area in the Sörnäinen district in Helsinki, Finland. On the southern side of the Nihdinkanava channel built in the middle of Sompasaari is the former island of Nihti.
