This train is India's first Vista Dome coach train which goes from scenic view of Eastern Ghats. It has got has an observation lounge, large glass windows with capacity of 40-seat has the double-wide reclining passenger seats that could be rotated 360 degrees.

The Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam Express is a Superfast Express AC express train of the Indian Railways running between Secunderabad (SC) and Visakhapatnam (VSKP). It is handled by the South Central Railway (SCR). The train was announced in the 2014 Railway budget of India and it uses the rake of Secunderabad–Shalimar Express. The train stops at 13 stations en route, connecting major cities like Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru and Rajahmundry. The train runs weekly and is the first LHB AC train to be introduced on this route. The 20805 / 20806 Andhra Pradesh Express is a daily Superfast Express train that connects the national capital of India, New Delhi, to the largest city of Andhra Pradesh, Visakhapatnam. The express is administered under Indian Railways's South Coast Railway Zone with the service numbers 20805 and 20806. The train service was first commissioned by then Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on 12 August 2015 as Andhra Pradesh AC Express. Later in the year 2020 Non-AC Sleeper Coaches were attached to this train which renamed this train as Andhra Pradesh Express. The passengers would also be entertained by dance performed by locals at some specific stations like Chalsa and Hasimara. There is also a selfie point in the Vistadome Coach. The train will cover three districts, which are Jalpaiguri District, Darjeeling District and Alipurduar District.
