"We Like to Party! (The Vengabus)" is a song by Dutch Eurodance group Vengaboys. Released in November 1998 as the fourth single from Up & Down - The Party Album , the song became one of the band's most successful hits, topping the chart in Flemish Belgium, reaching number two in Australia and the Netherlands, and becoming a top-five hit in Germany, Ireland, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. It is also the band's highest-charting song in the United States, climbing to number 26 on the Billboard Hot 100, and in Canada, where it peaked at number 10.

Eurodance is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in the late 1980s in Europe. It combines many elements of Techno, Hi-NRG, house music and Euro disco.

Vengaboys Dutch eurodance pop group

Vengaboys is a Dutch Eurodance music group based in Rotterdam. The group was the brainchild of Dutch producers Wessel van Diepen and Dennis van den Driesschen and consists of lead (female) vocalists Kim Sasabone and Denise Post-Van Rijswijk and male vocalists Robin Pors and Donny Latupeirissa.

Here, the song could meet a similar fate, especially since it features a sugar-soaked sing-along chorus that hangs out in your head until you beg for relief. That said, people who embraced Aqua (band)'s "Barbie Girl," Cleopatra's "Romeo And Juliet," and Los Del Rio's "Macarena" will be lining up for this latest slice of energetic pop. "Up and Down" is a song by Dutch Eurodance group Vengaboys. It reached number four in the United Kingdom in November 1998. It also reached number one on the US Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1999. The Tin Tin Out remix of the song was sampled in DMC's remix of Cher's "Believe". The "Wooo!" voice in the song is sampled from "Crash Goes Love" by Loleatta Holloway.

Music video

The music video for "We Like to Party" was directed by Wendelien van Diepen. [10] It first aired in March 1999. The video features all four Vengaboys members travelling to various destinations in Province of Barcelona, Piera and Gavà, in a 1930s style mini-bus, the "Vengabus" (a 1933 Chevrolet Bus), where they end up in a nightclub in La Barceloneta, Barcelona.

The neighborhood was constructed during the 18th century for the residents of the Ribera neighborhood who had been displaced by the construction of the Ciutadella of Barcelona. The neighborhood is roughly triangular, bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, the Moll d'Espanya of Port Vell, and the El Born neighborhood. This neighborhood even has its own flag. Torre Sant Sebastià is the terminus of the Port Vell Aerial Tramway; opened in 1931, it connects La Barceloneta with Montjuïc across Port Vell.
