World of Our Own is the third studio album recorded by Irish boy band Westlife. It was released through RCA Records on 12 November 2001. It reached number one in the United Kingdom and includes the singles "Queen of My Heart" (which was a double A-side with "When You're Looking Like That"),"World of Our Own" (which was a double A-side with "Angel"),"Bop Bop Baby",and the final single from the group's last album,"Uptown Girl". "Evergreen" was later covered by Will Young as his winner's single for the 2002 Pop Idol competition.
The album went 4×Platinum in the UK and is the fourteenth biggest selling boy band album ever in the UK. [2] The album was one of the best selling international albums in Hong Kong in 2002. [3] In January 2005,the album was re-released in a 2-in-1 box set with the group's previous album, Coast to Coast . [4]
The album sold over 5.5 million copies worldwide. [5]
The band spent four months making this album and wrote seven songs on it. [6] The album cover was shot in Dublin. [7]
"Uptown Girl" was recorded by the band as a part of the 2001 Comic Relief charity single. It was released on 5 March 2001. "Queen of My Heart" was released on 5 November 2001 as the first single from this album. [8] In an interview,Kian said that the song was about a person who wants to go back to their soulmate whom they have been away from each other for a long time. [9] "World of Our Own" was released on 18 February 2002 as the second single from this album. The band described it as a 'poppy' song. [10] "Bop Bop Baby" was released on 20 May 2002 as the third single from this album.
Bonus track "Bad Girls" was originally intended to be recorded by Luis Fonsi. [11]
The World of Our Own Tour saw Westlife touring the UK and Europe in 2002. The tour centered on a space theme with giant globes for the band's entrance.

GHV2 is the second greatest hits album by American recording artist Madonna. It was released by Maverick and Warner Bros. Records on November 13, 2001, coinciding with the video album, Drowned World Tour 2001. A follow-up to The Immaculate Collection (1990), GHV2 contains a collection of singles during the second decade of Madonna's career. Madonna mentioned that she only included "songs that I could listen to five times in a row" on it. The album did not contain any new songs, but a promotional single titled "GHV2 Megamix" was released, which contained remixes by Thunderpuss, John Rocks & Mac Quayle and Tracy Young. A promotional remix album was also issued, titled GHV2 Remixed: The Best of 1991–2001.
No Angel is the debut studio album by English singer-songwriter Dido. Originally released on 1 June 1999 in the United States, the album found a mass audience when it was released worldwide in February 2001. By 2003, the album had sold more than 15 million copies worldwide, and was the second best-selling album of the 2000s in the United Kingdom, behind James Blunt's Back to Bedlam.

The first single released from the album was "Unbreakable", a UK number-one single. Back Home is the eighth studio album by Irish boy band Westlife, released on 5 November 2007 through Syco Music, Sony Music and RCA Records. The album was produced by Steve Mac, Quiz & Larossi, Per Magnusson, David Kreuger and Rami Yacoub, who also produced some of the group's previous material. Back Home was the group's final album before their temporary break from music in 2008.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack was released on 20 November 2001. It was composed, orchestrated, and conducted by Howard Shore, and performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, the London Voices, London Oratory School Schola choir and multiple featured instrumental and vocal soloists.
