Dom Mladih ("Youth Centre Skenderija") is a multifunctional venue of modern concept and interior, located in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as part of Skenderija, which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, consisting of a dance hall with a capacity of 2000 visitors and the amphitheater with a capacity of up to 600 visitors. Many pop and rock groups as well as entertainers have started their careers as unknowns in "Dom Mladih", later to become renowned musicians throughout the region and the world: Kemal Monteno, Bijelo Dugme, Dino Merlin, Indexi, Crvena jabuka, Plavi orkestar, Ambasadori, Regina, SCH and many others. After it was damaged during Bosnian War, it was officially reopened in 2007. [3]
Zabranjeno Pušenje is a Bosnian rock band formed in Sarajevo in 1980. The group's musical style primarily consists of a distinctive garage rock sound with folk influences, often featuring innovative production and complex storytelling. Currently, the band consists of founding member, vocalist and guitarist Sejo Sexon, longtime drummer Branko Trajkov, guitarist Toni Lović, bassist Dejan Orešković, and violinist and keyboardist Robert Boldižar.
Skenderija is a cultural, sports and trade center located in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Grbavica Stadium is located in Grbavica, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This football stadium has terraces close to the pitch and it is the home stadium of FK Željezničar Sarajevo and one of two stadiums of the national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Kao nekad pred Božić is an annual one-day christmas music festival held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was established in 1999 as a joint venture by Croatian and Catholic cultural and religious organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The founder of this festival is Marijo Pejic. The festival is held in the Dom Mladih. It hosts numerous renowned church choirs, folklore groups and contemporary pop musicians. Guests and performers have included Goran Karan, Oliver Dragojević, Dražen Žerić, Klapa s Mora, Rajko Dujmić and others.
