The Nehru–Gandhi family is an Indian political family that has occupied a prominent place in the politics of India. The involvement of the family has traditionally revolved around the Indian National Congress, as various members have traditionally led the party. Three members of the family—Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi—have served as the prime minister of India, while several others have been members of parliament (MP).

Hirallli Chenniah Dasappa was an Indian politician. He was elected to the Lok Sabha, the Lower House of the Parliament from Bangalore in Mysore State in 1957 and 1962 as a member of the Indian National Congress.

Yerrapureddy Adinarayana Reddy was an Indian freedom fighter and politician. He organized the Individual Satyagraha Movement 1940 in the District and suffered three months in the Vellore Central Jail. During the Quit India Movement, he worked underground and later he was arrested and detained from 1942 to 1944 in the Vellore and Thanjavur Jails. He was a two term Member of Parliament, representing Andhra Pradesh in the Rajya Sabha the upper house of India's Parliament as a member of the Indian National Congress. He even served as Member of the Legislative Assembly of the earlier Madras Legislative Assembly and Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Rayachoti. He was also elected as MLC by Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council.

Villuri Venkataramana was an Indian politician. He was a Member of Parliament representing Andhra Pradesh in the Rajya Sabha the upper house of India's Parliament as member of the Indian National Congress. Venkataramana died in 1978.
