The Council remained under No Overall Control. The Conservatives won the most seats, gaining 2, although Labour (who also gained 2) narrowly outpolled them in share of the vote, the Liberal Democrats lost 3 seats and the only independent lost their seat.

The Norfolk County Council election took place across Norfolk on 2 May 2013, coinciding with local elections for all county councils in England. UKIP and the Labour Party both made gains of 14 and 11 seats respectively. The Conservatives lost one seat, Alvechurch, to an independent. UKIP lost all their seats in this election to the Conservatives.

Wiltshire County Council elections were first held on 23 January 1889, with the election of the first Wiltshire County Council. Thereafter, elections were held every three years, with all members being elected on the same day. Later, the cycle was changed to one election in every four years, and the last such election was in 2005. There were also occasional by-elections, the last of which took place in February 2008.

The 2021 Cambridgeshire County Council election took place on 6 May 2021 as part of the 2021 local elections in the United Kingdom. The electoral divisions had been redrawn since the last election in 2001. No elections were held in Plymouth and Torbay, which are unitary authorities outside the area covered by the County Council.
