The 2015 GPL season was the fourth edition of the Garena Premier League, a Riot Games-organised tournament for League of Legends , the multiplayer online battle arena video game. It is a fully professional League of Legends league over all of the Southeast Asia region, with 16 teams from 5 countries/areas to determine which team is the best in the region.

The 2015–16 Champions Hockey League was the second season of the Champions Hockey League, a European ice hockey tournament launched by 26 founding clubs, six leagues and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).
The League of Legends Master Series (LMS) was a professional League of Legends league with teams from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau from 2015 to 2019. Eight teams competed over two seasons to qualify for the League of Legends World Championship. In September 2019, Riot announced that the LMS would merge with the League of Legends SEA Tour (LST) to create a new professional league for all Garena-affiliated regions except Vietnam, the Pacific Championship Series (PCS).
ahq eSports Club was a Taiwanese esports organization based in New Taipei City. It was best known for its League of Legends team which competed in the League of Legends Masters Series and later the Pacific Championship Series. In 2018, the VCS broke away from the GPL and became a separate tier one league. The Vietnamese teams have the opportunity to participate directly in international events of League of Legends organized by Riot Games without having to participate in the GPL.

Winners of the LST represented Southeast Asia at the Mid-Season Invitational and World Championship.

In the spring, the best teams from 4 minor regions participate to determine which team is the best in the region. The summer, also known as Globe Conquerors Manila 2018 (GCM), is the new professional League of Legends league for the entire Southeast Asia region, replaces the Garena Premier League (GPL), with 8 teams from 5 countries participating to determine which team is the best in the region.
The 2014 Vietnam Championship Series A Winter Season is the second split of the first season of Vietnam's fully professional League of Legends, With the sponsorship of Dell, the tournament is known as Dell Championship Serie A.
