The 2017 L.League season was the 29th edition since its establishment. NTV Beleza were the defending champions, having won the Division 1 title in each of the past two seasons. The season began in March 2017 and ended in October 2017. NTV Beleza won the season, making it their 15th (and 3rd straight) Division 1 title.

L.League Japanese association football league

The L.League is the top flight of women's association football in Japan. The league consists of three divisions: Divisions 1 and 2 have the nickname Nadeshiko League and Division 3 the Challenge League. Since 2008 it has been sponsored by Plenus (株式会社プレナス), a fastfood company based in Fukuoka, and are thus billed as Plenus Nadeshiko League and Plenus Challenge League.

Iga Football Club Kunoichi, is a women's football team which plays in Division 2 of Japan's Nadeshiko League. As the strongest women's club in the Tōkai region, it has made a niche for itself against the more resourceful powers of the Kanto, NTV Beleza, and Kansai, INAC Kobe Leonessa.

The 2014 Japan Football League was the first season of the nationwide fourth tier of the Japanese football, and the 16th season since the establishment of Japan Football League. The first stage of the season commenced from 16 March to 8 June, and the second stage of the season commenced on 19 July, and ended on 9 November, while post-season championship playoffs were held on 23 and 30 November.

The 2015 Japan Football League was the second season of the nationwide fourth tier of the Japanese football, and the 17th season since the establishment of Japan Football League. The first stage of the season was played from 8 March to 7 June, and the second stage of the season from 20 June to 15 November, while post-season championship playoffs were held on 29 November and 5 December.

The 2015 Nadeshiko League season was won by NTV Beleza, who have won the title 13 times.

The 2017 Meiji Yasuda J2 League season was the 46th season of the second-tier club football in Japan and the 19th season since the establishment of J2 League.

The 2016 Nadeshiko League season was won by NTV Beleza, who have won the title 14 times.

The 2018 Meiji Yasuda J2 League season was the 47th season of the second-tier club football in Japan and the 20th season since the establishment of J2 League.

The 2017 Empress's Cup was the 39th edition of the Japanese women's football national cup. NTV Beleza won its 11th title and sealed its first League-Cup double since the 2008 season after beating Nadeshiko Division 1 newcomer Nojima Stella in the final. Defending champion INAC Leonessa was defeated on penalties in the Round of 32 by the non-L. League team of the Waseda University.

Lee Min-a is a South Korean footballer who plays as a midfielder for Nadeshiko League club INAC Kobe Leonessa and the South Korea national team. She previously played for WK League club Incheon Hyundai Steel Red Angels.

Mina Tanaka is a Japanese football player. She plays for Nippon TV Beleza and Japan national team.

The 2018 L. League season is the 30th edition since its establishment. NTV Beleza are the defending champions, having won the Division 1 title in each of the past three seasons.

2018 Nadeshiko League Cup Final was the 11th final of the Nadeshiko League Cup competition. The final was played at Nishigaoka Soccer Stadium in Tokyo on July 21, 2018. Nippon TV Beleza won the championship.
