The Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC) is a conservative political party in the Philippines, founded in 1992 by then-presidential candidate Eduardo Cojuangco Jr.
The People's Reform Party is a center-left political party in the Philippines. Founded on April 12, 1991, as the political party of former Agrarian Reform Secretary Miriam Defensor Santiago for her bid as president in the 1992 Presidential Elections. During the 1992 Elections, the party nominated Santiago as president and Ramon Magsaysay, Jr. as vice president, however both Santiago and Magsaysay lost the elections to former Defense Secretary Fidel Ramos and then-Senator Joseph Estrada, respectively. The Force of Reform Philippines (FORPH) serves as the official youth-wing of the People's Reform Party. While under the same Miriam Defensor Santiago wing, the Youth Reform Movement is not related to the PRP.

The 2022 Pensacola mayoral election will take place on November 8, 2022, to elect the mayor of Pensacola. The primary election, a top-two primary, took place on August 23. Local Entrepreneur and businessman D.C. Reeves was elected during the primary by earning the majority, 7,680 votes (51.13%), against three opponents, Jewell Cannada-Wynn, Sherri Myers and Steven Sharp. Because Reeves earned the majority in the primary, there will be no runoff on November 8 and Reeves will take office on November 22 when Incumbent Mayor Grover C. Robinson IV will step down after one term. At age 38, Reeves will become the youngest Pensacolian to hold the office in 101 years.
