Tiongson is seeking reelection for his 5th term as Municipal Mayor against his last election opponent Jiboy Cabochan which running under Aksyon Demokratiko and former mayor Edmundo Jose "Pop" Buencamino who is the seating Mayor during his first term as Vice Mayor in 2004.
