508 West 24th Street (also known as 508W24) is a residential building in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City, near the High Line. The building was designed by Cary Tamarkin.
The previous building on the site was purchased by Tamarkin in 2011. [1] The foundations of the building were finished in June 2013, and by July of that year, the development was in level with the adjacent High Line park, and was placed on the market. [2] [3] During the building's construction, the facade of the building was darkened by grime, but was cleaned when the building was finished. [4]
The building appears to draw inspiration from Bauhaus architecture, and incorporates a large clock onto its exterior, which faces the High Line. [5] The clock is intended to contribute to the tradition of public art around the park. [2]
The building is entirely residential, with fifteen units. Fourteen of the fifteen units have three bedrooms, specifically catering to families interested in moving to the neighborhood. [6] Amenities include a fitness room, a playroom, and a courtyard open to all tenants.

There are 386 rental apartments at the building, located at the southwest corner of 30th Street and Tenth Avenue. Robert A.M. Stern Architects designed the building, and The Related Companies developed the building. There is about 7,200 square feet (670 m2) of rental space on the ground floor of the 33-story, 325 feet (99 m)-tall building; the building also has a pre-fabricated red brick facade. The building, the first to open in the area under the zoning of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project, has 78 permanent units. It started leasing in April 2014, two years after beginning construction in 2012.
