This is the second season of Amazing Race Suomi (Finnish : Amazing Race Finland), an Finnish reality television game show based on the American series The Amazing Race . Hosted by Heikki Paasonen, it will feature eleven teams of two, each with a pre-existing relationship and including at least one celebrity contestant, in a race around the world to win €30,000. The season is set to premiere in October of 2024 on Nelonen. [1]
On 21 May 2024, Nelonen announced that Amazing Race Suomi was renewed for a second season. [2] The channel announced that the celebrity contestants will travel approximately the same distance by airplanes as they did in the first season (roughly 20,000 kilometres or 12,000 miles), to minimize the amount of carbon emissions produced during filming. [3] Like the previous season, this season will be hosted by Heikki Paasonen and feature pairs of two competing for the prize of €30,000. [4] [5]
Production of this season began on 22 May 2024 in the city of Vantaa at the Heureka science center with the eleven celebrity pairs competing on this season also revealed. [6] [7] [8] According to the presenter, there will be some new twists in this season, with a "gamechanger" element teased. [8] As of the start of June, racers of the version have seemingly been reported to be spotted in Kraków, Poland and Romania.
Upon the start of the production, the second season of Amazing Race Suomi was announced to premiere in October 2024. [1] [4]
Each team is composed of two individuals who have some type of relationship to each other. In the second season, there are 11 Finnish celebrity teams competing. [6]

Big Brother Suomi is the Finnish version of the reality television franchise Big Brother. The Finnish adaptation was broadcast on Sub in Finland from 2005 to 2014.
Kolmonen or III divisioona is the fifth level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 108 Finnish football teams. The III divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kolmonen. Until the end of 2023 season, Kolmonen was the fourth level in the pyramid, but after the creation of new second-tier Ykkösliiga, Kolmonen fell down one level, starting in 2024.

Talent Suomi is the Finnish version of the Got Talent format of the program and airs on Nelonen. The idea behind the programme is to search for the most talented and promising entertainment. Talent contest took off for the first time in Finland at the end of September 2007. The programme was originally hosted by Susanna Laine and Martin Coulter and had contemporary magazine editor Katja Ståhl, television presenter and film director Timo Koivusalo, as well as the Finnish National Ballet dancer and choreographer Sami Saikkonen as judges. The prize was €30,000.

The season premiered on 4 April 2021 on Nelonen and concluded on 6 June 2021 where actor Timo Lavikainen won in the final duel against former politician Mikael Jungner to win the grand prize and the title of Farmi Suomi 2021.
