Asian Sailing Championship

Asian Sailing Championship is a biennal Asian Championship multi-class sailing regatta organised by the Asian Sailing Federation.

Optimist (dinghy) International racing sailing class

The Optimist is a small, single-handed sailing dinghy intended for use by young people up to the age of 15.

The Singapore Sailing Federation, also known as SingaporeSailing, is the National Sports Association (NSA) responsible for the management and organisation of the sport of sailing in Singapore.

Soling International racing sailing class

The Soling is an open keelboat that holds the World Sailing "International class" status. The class was used from the 1972 Olympics (Kiel) until the 2000 Olympics (Sydney) as "Open Three Person Keelboat". Besides the Olympic career of the Soling the boat is used for International and local regattas as well as for recreational sailing. The Soling is managed by the International Soling Association under auspician of World Sailing/ISAF/IYRU since 1968.

World Match Racing Tour Sailing series

Founded in 2000, the World Match Racing Tour (WMRT) features world class sailors including America’s Cup and Olympic champions, in a global championship series. WMRT is sanctioned with ‘Special Event Status’ by World Sailing, the sport’s world governing body. The winner of the WMRT each year is crowned official Match Racing World Champion.

Peter Burling (sailor) New Zealand sailor

Peter Burling is a New Zealand sailor. He was the 2021 America's Cup winning skipper and helmsman, and the 2017 America's Cup winning helmsman of Team New Zealand, and won an Olympic gold medal in the 49er class at the 2016 games and silver medals in the 2012 and 2020 Olympics.

The 470 World Championships have been held every year since 1970 and organised by the International 470 Class Association and recognized by the International Sailing Federation. When the Championship forms part of the ISAF Sailing World Championships the ISAF also organise the event. The 470 is a sailboat class used as equipment for the Olympic Sailing Competition.

The 49er World Championships are international sailing regattas in the 49er and 49er FX classes organized by the International Sailing Federation. It was first held in 1997. In 2013, the 49er FX class was added to the programme.

The Star World Championship are international sailing regattas in the Star class organized by the International Star Class Yacht Racing Association sanctioned by International Sailing Federation.

The Laser World Championship have been held every year since 1974, organized by the International Sailing Federation.

The Laser 4.7 World Championships have been held every year since 2002, organized by the International Sailing Federation. The event is open to young under 18.

Nazlı Çağla Dönertaş is a Turkish yacht racer. The 1.73 m tall athlete at 69 kg (152 lb) is a student of Architecture at the Okan University in Istanbul.

Blair Tuke New Zealand sailor

Andrew Blair Tuke is a New Zealand sailor who won the 2021 Americas Cup Held in Auckland and also won the 2017 Version held in Bermuda. He also won the gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and the silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the 49er class alongside Peter Burling.

Paweł Tarnowski (sailor)

Paweł Aleksander Maria Tarnowski is a Polish sailor, son of Jacek Tarnowski, and Monika Wanicka. Tarnowski already competed at the top-level when he was a teenager, becoming a multiple medal winner in Junior World Championships. In 2011 and 2012, he won a gold medal at the RS:X Junior World Championships, and he won medals in European Champion. In first he started in classes Techno 293 Class and at present RS:X, (including in a category age under 17 and under 21 years of age.
He is sometimes seen as a model in commercials, including polish company Atlas or on the cover of album Superheroes : Chapter One - Courage of the band Synthphonia.

The 470 European Championships are international sailing regattas in the 470 class.

The Women's Laser Radial World Championships have been held every year since 1980, organized by the International Sailing Federation. Laser Radial is an Olympic sailing class. The event was held together with the Men's Laser Radial World Championships between 1989 and 2010.

The 420 World Championships are international sailing regattas in the 420 class organized by the International Sailing Federation and the International 420 Class Association.

Soling North American Championship

The Soling North American Championship is an International sailing regatta in the Soling organized by the International Soling Association under auspiciën of World Sailing. The initiative for this event was taken, inspired by the success of the Soling European Championship, by Milwaukee Yacht Club sailor Jack Van Dyke in 1969 to promote Soling sailing in the US and Canada. Since then over 50 Soling North American Championship were held. The popularity grew during the Olympic period of the Soling. After that era the event continued and is still reasonable successful. The Soling North American Championship is an "Open" event. This means that competitors from all over the world are eligible to enter. So far oversees entries have only won the title three times:

Optimist World Championship are annual World Championship sailing regattas in the Optimist class organised by the International Optimist Dinghy Association.
