Beasley Coliseum is a general-purpose arena on the campus of Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. Opened 49 years ago in June 1973, its current seating capacity is 12,058 for basketball. It is the home venue for both the Cougars men's and women's basketball teams of the Pac-12 Conference.

Joe Albi Stadium is a former outdoor athletic stadium located in Northwest, Spokane, Washington, United States, that is currently undergoing demolition. Located in the northwest part of the city, just east of the Spokane River, it was primarily used for high school football; it was also used as a secondary home field for the Washington State Cougars from its opening until 1983. Built and opened in 1950 on the site of a U.S. Army hospital, it was closed in 2022 and replaced with a new stadium in Downtown Spokane.
Rogers Field was an outdoor athletic stadium in the northwest United States, on the campus of Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. It was the home venue of the WSU Cougars football and track teams until severely damaged by a fire in April 1970. Demolished in early 1971, Rogers Field was replaced by the concrete Martin Stadium, which was built on the same site and opened in 1972.

The NCAA Division I program has been a member of the West Coast Conference since 1996 and its home venue is Washington Trust Field and Patterson Baseball Complex, opened on Gonzaga's campus in 2007.
The 1972 Washington State Cougars football team was an American football team that represented Washington State University in the Pacific-8 Conference (Pac-8) during the 1972 NCAA University Division football season. In their fifth season under head coach Jim Sweeney, the Cougars compiled a 7–4 record(4–3 in the Pac-8, tied for 3rd), and outscored their opponents 274 to 241.
