Saroj Pandey is an Indian politician and a member of the Rajya Sabha, upper house of the Indian Parliament. She was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha from Durg. In 2008, she was appointed as the national president of BJP Mahila Morcha. She has also held party positions at state level. In March 2018, she won the Chhattisgarh Rajya Sabha seat. On 8 December 2008, she won election as the first MLA of Vaishali Nagar, a newly formed Vidhan Sabha constituency in Chhattisgarh. Prior to that, she was the mayor of Durg for two terms.

BJP Minority Morcha is the official minority wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party, one of two major political parties in India. In November 2011, the Minority Morcha asked the party leadership to drop its demand for a Uniform Civil Code, but it stood by the party's stand of opposing any reservation based on religious affiliation. However, in October 2015, the Morcha endorsed the views of Union Law Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda, who stated that the Uniform Civil Code was necessary. In July 2012, a one-day workshop on "Welfare of Minorities through Good Governance" was held in New Delhi in which members and chairpersons of minority-related government organisations of BJP-ruled states participated. The workshop was inaugurated by the BJP president, who asked the participants to deliver through good governance and win the hearts of the community.

The Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) is a state political party in the Indian state of Jharkhand which was founded by former Union Minister and Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi. The party's formation was announced by Marandi at Hazaribagh on 24 September, 2006. Marandi was earlier a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, but he quit in mid-2006 because he felt he was being sidelined in the party.
