The Temenggor Dam has created a large man-made lake at Banding near Grik.

Bukit Bunga–Ban Buketa Bridge is a bridge crossing the Kolok River at the Malaysia–Thailand border, connecting Bukit Bunga town in Kelantan with Buketa village in Waeng District, Narathiwat Province, Thailand. It is the newest border crossing between Malaysia and Thailand and the second bridge crossing the Kolok river. The bridge was one of the co-operative projects under the framework of the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT).

It spans to the south of the cross-border railway bridge nearby. The bridge is a part of Asian highway network AH18, including Thailand Route 4056 and Federal Route 3. It was built by the governments of both countries, and was officially opened on 21 May 1973 by both Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Abdul Razak bin Haji Dato' Hussein Al-Haj and Thai Prime Minister Field Marshal Thanom Kittikachorn.
