In 2018, the hospital was involved in a controversy when a colonoscopy patient publicly criticised the hospital for failing to properly address her concerns about an unsatisfactory procedure. The patient, who suffered complications after the surgery, stated that she had received conflicting information from different staff members and had to wait for several weeks for a response. [8]
