Canada Country in North America

Canada is a country in the northern part of North America. Its ten provinces and three territories extend from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northward into the Arctic Ocean, covering 9.98 million square kilometres, making it the world's second-largest country by total area. Canada's southern border with the United States is the world's longest bi-national land border. Its capital is Ottawa, and its three largest metropolitan areas are Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. As a whole, Canada is sparsely populated, the majority of its land area being dominated by forest and tundra. Consequently, its population is highly urbanized, with over 80 percent of its inhabitants concentrated in large and medium-sized cities, many near the southern border. Canada's climate varies widely across its vast area, ranging from arctic weather in the north, to hot summers in the southern regions, with four distinct seasons.

Kilbride (electoral district)

Kilbride is a defunct provincial electoral district for the House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. As of 2011, there are 10,251 eligible voters living within the district. The district was abolished in 2015 and replaced by Waterford Valley.

Port au Port (electoral district)

Port au Port is a defunct provincial electoral district for the House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. As of 2011, there were 8,439 eligible voters living within the district.

Granby, Quebec Town in Quebec, Canada

Granby is a town in southwestern Quebec, located east of Montreal. The population as of the Canada 2011 Census was 63,433. Granby is the seat of La Haute-Yamaska Regional County Municipality. It is the fourth most populated town in Montérégie after Longueuil, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, and Brossard. The town is named after John Manners, Marquess of Granby; today it is most famous for the Granby Zoo and its landmark fountain of lake Boivin.

Rivière-du-Loup City in Quebec, Canada

Rivière-du-Loup is a small city on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River in Quebec. The city is the seat for the Rivière-du-Loup Regional County Municipality and the judicial district of Kamouraska.
