Coffey underwent Tommy John surgery after signing with the White Sox,and thus did not make his professional debut until 2022 with the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers.[11] He went 4-3 with a 5.23 ERA over 51 innings. He opened the 2023 season with the Winston-Salem Dash and was promoted to the Birmingham Barons in mid-July. Over forty relief appearances between the two teams,Coffey went 1-2 with a 4.82 ERA and 53 strikeouts. He was selected to play in the Arizona Fall League for the Glendale Desert Dogs after the season.[12]
Coffey opened the 2024 season with Birmingham and was promoted to the Charlotte Knights in late May. While playing for Charlotte on June 16,2024,Coffey was part of a seven–pitcher no-hitter against the Durham Bulls.[13]
Dalquist was selected in the 3rd round of the 2019 MLB draft by the Chicago White Sox.[16] After signing with the team,he was assigned to the Arizona League White Sox where he made three one-inning appearances,all of which were scoreless.[17][18] After the 2020 minor league season was canceled due to COVID-19,Dalquist was added to the White Sox's alternate training site midway through the Major League season.[19][20]
Dalquist was assigned to the Low-AKannapolis Cannon Ballers for the 2021 season.[21] Over 23 starts,he went 3–9 with a 4.99 ERA and 79 strikeouts over 83 innings.[22]
In 2018,Eder's freshman year at Vanderbilt,he appeared in 11 games (nine starts),going 1–4 with a 5.45 ERA over 33 innings.[28] As a sophomore in 2019,he pitched 34+1⁄3 innings in relief, compiling a 1–0 record, a 2.88 ERA, and 37 strikeouts.[29] He pitched the last three innings of the third game of the 2019 College World Series, clinching Vanderbilt's second national title.[30][31] Following the end of the 2019 college baseball season, he played in the Cape Cod Baseball League for the Orleans Firebirds.[32][33] For his junior year in 2020, he pitched to a 1–1 record and a 3.60 ERA over four starts before the college baseball season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Eder was selected by the Miami Marlins in the fourth round of the 2020 Major League Baseball draft with the 104th overall pick and signed.[34] He did not play a minor league game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season caused by the pandemic. On November 14, 2023, the White Sox added Eder to their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft. He was optioned to Double—A Birmingham to begin the 2024 season.[44] On July 10, 2024, Eder was promoted to the major leagues for the first time to serve as the 27th man in the team's doubleheader against the Minnesota Twins.[45] He did not appear in either game and was optioned to the Triple–A Charlotte Knights the same day.[46]
