Michael Alexander Arias (born November 15,2001) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Arias signed with the Toronto Blue Jays as an international free agent on July 5,2018. He was an infielder in the Blue Jays organization,but did not play in a game for the organization in 2018 or 2019,and missed the 2020 campaign after it was cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. [1] Arias was released by Toronto on May 29,2020.
On January 15,2021,Arias signed a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs and was converted into a pitcher.
On November 14,2023,the Cubs added Arias to their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft. [2] He was optioned to the Double–A Tennessee Smokies to begin the 2024 season. [3] In 49 appearances split between Tennessee and the Triple-A Iowa Cubs,Arias accumulated a 6-2 record and 4.77 ERA with 72 strikeouts and 5 saves across 60+1⁄3 innings pitched. On January 13, 2025, Arias was designated for assignment by the Cubs. [4]
On January 15, 2025, Arias was traded to the New York Yankees in exchange for cash considerations. [5] He was optioned to the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders to begin the 2025 season. [6]

Sean Boyle (born October 29,1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Yankees organization.
Boyle grew up in Selden,New York and attended Newfield High School. He did not play baseball until his junior year at Newfield. Boyle began his college baseball career at Suffolk County Community College,playing for two seasons before transferring to Dallas Baptist University. [10] As a senior for the Dallas Baptist Patriots,Boyle made 21 appearances with two starts and went 1–1 with a 3.60 ERA and 40 strikeouts over 35 innings pitched. [11]
The New York Yankees selected Boyle in the 25th round of the 2018 Major League Baseball Draft. He signed with the team and received a $10,000 signing bonus. After signing with the team Boyle was assigned to the Gulf Coast League Yankees as a reliever and struck out 20 batters over 15 innings pitched. [12]
He began the 2019 season with the Pulaski Yankees before earning a promotion to the Class A Short Season Staten Island Yankees after posting a 1.88 ERA with 32 strikeouts in 28+2⁄3 innings pitched. [13]
Boyle did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He began the 2021 season with the Low-A Tampa Tarpons,where he began to transition from a reliever to a starter before being promoted to the High-A Hudson Valley Renegades where in his first start,threw a combined no-hitter for Hudson Valley Renegades,their first in 20 years. He then was promoted to the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. [14] where in his first start in AAA,threw a complete game no-hitter against the WooSox in their new stadium. Boyle was named AAA International League pitcher of the week for the week of 9/22/21. Boyle had risen through 4 levels of the minor leagues in 2021 and threw 2 no-hitters that year. Boyle was later sent to the Double-A Somerset Patriots before being assigned back to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. [15]
To begin 2022,he pitched 2 innings in the March 20 Yankees Spring Training game,allowing no runs. To start the 2022 season he was assigned to AA Somerset in order to get more innings for his continued conversion to a full time starting pitcher. He was named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week for 7/17 and Eastern League of the Month for July. [16] He was also named 2022 Pitcher of the year [17] voted by Somerset fans. Boyle had a record 10 straight quality starts at AA Somerset,the longest streak by any minor leaguer since 2019 before he was promoted to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at the beginning of August. [18] In 2022,Boyle ranked second of all minor league pitchers with 155+1⁄3 innings pitched,third with 13 wins,and fourth with 160 strikeouts. [19]

Carr attended San Marcos High School in San Marcos,California,where he played for the school's baseball team as a two-way player. He had Tommy John surgery in October 2020. Carr pitched to a 12–1 win–loss record with a 2.31 earned run average (ERA) and 111 strikeouts in 78 innings pitched. [20]
Carr enrolled at the University of San Diego to play college baseball for the San Diego Toreros. He took a redshirt in 2021. In 2022,he had a 6.19 ERA in 16 innings pitched and batted 2-for-14 (.143) as a designated hitter. He broke a hand in February 2022. [20] In 2022,he played collegiate summer baseball with the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League. [21] He transferred to Palomar College for the 2023 college season. Carson Cavanagh Coleman (born April 7,1998) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Yankees organization.
Coleman attended Lexington Catholic High School in Lexington,Kentucky and played college baseball at the University of Kentucky. In 2018 and 2019,he played collegiate summer baseball with the Brewster Whitecaps of the Cape Cod Baseball League. [26] [27] He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 33rd round of the 2019 Major League Baseball draft,but did not sign and returned to Kentucky for another season. [28] He signed with the New York Yankees as an undrafted free agent after he was not selected in the 2020 Major League Baseball draft,which was shortened because of the COVID-19 pandemic. [29] [30]
Coleman spent his professional debut season of 2021 with the Tampa Tarpons,going 2–3 with a 6.11 ERA and 49 strikeouts over 35+1⁄3 innings. [31] He split the 2022 season between the Hudson Valley Renegades and the Somerset Patriots,going a combined 2–3 with a 2.13 ERA and 95 strikeouts over 63+1⁄3 innings. [32] Coleman underwent Tommy John surgery in April 2023,and missed the entire season. [33]
On December 6,2023,Coleman was selected by the Texas Rangers in the Rule 5 draft. [34] He did not appear for the organization as he continued to recover from surgery.
On November 19,2024,Coleman was returned to the New York Yankees organization. [35]

Cunningham attended Headland High School in Headland,Alabama. As a senior in 2021,he had a 0.76 earned run average (ERA) with 77 strikeouts over 46 innings. Hardman attended Temescal Canyon High School in Lake Elsinore,California. He was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 37th round of the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft,but did not sign and played college baseball at the University of Oklahoma.
