China National Highway 345 runs from Qidong in Jiangsu to Nagqu in Tibet. Its exact length is not known yet, as parts of the route are still under planning, but once completed it will be around 3000 km long. [1] It is one of the new trunk highways proposed in the China National Highway Network Planning (2013 - 2030).
Construction on the section starting from Qidong commenced in May 2019. [1] [2] It is complete in Jingjiang and Taixing and under construction as a western ring road around Yangzhou. [3]
In Fuyang, provincial highway S102 and the Fuyang south ring road were reclassified as G345. G345 is mostly complete in Anhui.
A part of the Gansu section is relabeled and upgraded former Gansu provincial highways S305 and S307.
Parts of Qinghai Provincial Highway S309 were upgraded to G345. [4] It connects to G214 at Gyêgu, leading west to Qapugtang.
Golmud, also known by various other romanizations, is a county-level city in the Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, China. It is now the second-largest city in Qinghai and the third largest in the Tibetan Plateau. The population in 2020 is 221,863.

Chongming-Qidong Yangtze River Bridge or the Chongqi Bridge, also called Chongqi Crossing Project, is a bridge across the north fork of the Yangtze River, near the river's mouth between Chongming Island of Shanghai and Qidong in Jiangsu Province. This bridge, along with the Shanghai Yangtze River Tunnel and Bridge to the south, forms the last crossing of the Yangtze River before the river empties into the East China Sea. The bridge carries the six-lane G40 Shanghai–Xi'an Expressway, part of the National Expressway Network of the People's Republic of China.
China National Highway 310 (G310) runs northwest from Lianyungang, Jiangsu towards Anhui, Henan, Shaanxi provinces, and ends in Tianshui, Gansu. It was originally 1613 kilometres in length, but was later extended westward to Gonghe County in Qinghai.
The Nanjing–Qidong railway, commonly referred to in short as the Ningqi railway, is a railway in the Chinese province of Jiangsu. Its common name is derived from Ning, the one-character abbreviation for Nanjing and Qi, which refers to Qidong, a county-level city of Nantong. Until 2019, the railway only ran as far as east as Nantong East railway station. On January 5, 2019, the line was extended to Qidong and it is now 351 kilometres (218 mi) long. It runs along the northern bank of the Yangtze River, serving cities such as Yangzhou, Taizhou, and Hai'an. Passenger service was formerly operated between Nanjing railway station and Nantong railway station only. A frequent service is now operated on the whole route from Nanjing to Qidong.
The Nanjing–Xi'an railway or Ningxi railway, is a major trunkline railroad in China between Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province and Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi Province. The Chinese name for the line, Ningxi, is named after the two terminal cities, Ning, the Chinese character shorthand for the city of Nanjing, and Xi for Xian. The line is 1,196 km (743 mi) in length and comprises the Xi’an-Hefei section in the west, 1,196 km (743 mi) in length, that opened on January 7, 2004, and the high-speed Hefei–Nanjing section in the east, better known as the Hefei–Nanjing passenger railway, 166 km (103 mi) in length, that opened on April 18, 2008. In addition, a connection line 72 km (45 mi) in length was built in 2004 between the main line in Sui County and the Hankou–Danjiangkou railway in northern Hubei. The Ningxi railway passes through five provinces in central and eastern China. Major cities along route include Nanjing and Pukou in Jiangsu Province; Feidong, Hefei and Lu'an in Anhui Province; Huangchuan, Xinyang, Nanyang and Xixia County in Henan Province and Shangluo, Weinan and Xian in Shaanxi Province. The main line skirts Hubei Province near Sui County.
The Beijing–Tibet Expressway, commonly abbreviated to Jingzang Expressway, also known as Beijing–Lhasa Expressway or China National Expressway 6, is part of the Chinese national expressway network and is planned to connect the nation's capital, Beijing, to the capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region, Lhasa.
Nanchang Metro is a rapid transit system in Nanchang, Jiangxi, China. As of 2017, two lines are operational. The Metro opened for commercial operation in December 2015.

Chengdu–Lanzhou railway is a Chinese railway line under construction, connecting Chengdu, the provincial capital of Sichuan with Lanzhou, capital of Gansu, with a branch connecting Chengdu to Xining, the capital of Qinghai. The Lanzhou–Xinjiang high-speed railway, also known as Lanzhou–Xinjiang Passenger Railway or Lanxin Second Railway, is a high-speed railroad in Northwestern China from Lanzhou in Gansu Province to Ürümqi in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. It forms part of what China designates the Eurasia Continental Bridge corridor, a domestic high-speed railway corridor running from its city of Lianyungang to the Kazakh border.
The Eurasia Continental Bridge corridor is a high-speed rail corridor connecting Lianyungang, a port in northern Jiangsu province, to Ürümqi, the regional capital of Xinjiang. The corridor passes through the cities of Xuzhou (Jiangsu), Zhengzhou (Henan), Xi'an (Shaanxi), Lanzhou (Gansu), and Xining (Qinghai) en route. Announced in 2016 as part of the "eight verticals and eight horizontals" railway network plan, the rail corridor is an extension of the existing Xuzhou–Lanzhou high-speed railway.
Yinchuan–Xi'an high-speed railway, is a dual-track, electrified, high-speed rail line in Northwest China between Yinchuan and Xi'an. The line is the first railway to connect Qingyang to the Chinese railway network, and also the first railway to connect Ningxia and Yinchuan to the high-speed railway network.

The Ya'an-Yecheng Expressway, commonly referred to as the Yaye Expressway is an expressway that will traverse the entirety of Tibet and link Ya'an in Sichuan to Yecheng in Xinjiang.
