China National Highway 341 will run from Jiaonan in Shandong to Haiyan in Qinghai. It is one of the new trunk highways proposed in the China National Highway Network Planning (2013 - 2030). [1]
Complete between Jiaonan and Zhucheng. The section is mainly upgraded former provincial highways S324 and S710.
Completed around Nanle and Anyang. [2]
The Shanxi section is under planning. [1]
Gansu (eastern section)
There are no plans yet to start construction in Huachi County (Shaanxi border-Huan County). Construction is in progress between Huan County urban area and the border with Ningxia. This section will be a 2x2 lane limited-access road. [4]
Construction has started. The route enters Ningxia at Zhaike township, through Sanhe (Heicheng) town, where it crosses G344. The total length in Ningxia is 55 km (34 mi). [5] [6]
Construction of the 61 km section between Baiyin and Lanzhou New Area started in 2017 and was completed in 2021. [7] [8]
Construction has started from Jiading at the border with Gansu to the terminus in Haiyan. [9] [10] Completed within Huzhu County.

China National Highway 212 (G212) runs from Lanzhou in Gansu to Chongqing. It was originally 1302 kilometres in length. In the 2013 National Highway Network Planning it was extended to Longbang, Guangxi, on the border with Vietnam. After the extension, the length is circa 2,300 km (1,400 mi).
Urban rail transit in China encompasses a broad range of urban and suburban electric passenger rail mass transit systems including subway, light rail, tram and maglev. Some classifications also include non-rail bus rapid transport. The Baoji–Lanzhou high-speed railway is a high-speed railway operated by China Railway High-speed between Baoji in western Shaanxi province and Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu province. The railway cut the rail travel between Baoji and Lanzhou from five hours to one hour and a half. It connects with the Xi'an–Baoji high-speed railway to the east and the Lanzhou–Urumqi high-speed railway to the west. The feasibility study report has been approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. The construction work was expected to start in the first half of 2011, but it actually started in October 2012. The line started operations on July 9, 2017.
Nanchang Metro, officially Nanchang Rail Transit, is a rapid transit system in Nanchang, Jiangxi, China. As of 2021, four lines are operational. The Metro opened for commercial operation in December 2015. The network is currently 128.3 km (79.7 mi) in length with 4 lines. A total length of 163 km (101.3 mi) of network is planned, with Line 5 which is currently under planning.
Line 17 of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line that is partially in operation in Beijing. The line is fully underground and has a total length of 49.7 km (30.9 mi). It is scheduled to open in parts between 2021 and 2024. The line is operated by Beijing MTR Corporation Limited. Line 17's color is turquoise.
Daxing Airport Express of the Beijing Subway is an airport rail link from Caoqiao to the Beijing Daxing International Airport. It is colored blue on subway maps. The line opened on September 26, 2019.
The Lanzhou–Xinjiang high-speed railway, also known as Lanzhou–Xinjiang Passenger Railway or Lanxin Second Railway, is a high-speed railroad in Northwestern China from Lanzhou in Gansu Province to Ürümqi in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. It forms part of what China designates the Eurasia Continental Bridge corridor, a domestic high-speed railway corridor running from the city of Lianyungang in Jiangsu to the Kazakh border. The line is also shared with conventional trains.
The Coastal corridor is a high-speed rail corridor running along the eastern coast of China, stretching from Dalian in the north to Fangchenggang in the south and passing through the cities of Shenyang, Qinhuangdao, Tianjin, Dongying, Weifang, Qingdao, Lianyungang, Yancheng, Nantong, Shanghai, Ningbo. Fuzhou, Xiamen, Shenzhen, and Zhanjiang. The Weifang–Qingdao stretch splits into two, one directly connecting Weifang to Qingdao, the other connecting Weifang to Qingdao through Yantai. Announced in 2016 as part of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network as an expanded Hangzhou–Fuzhou–Shenzhen passenger railway from the "four vertical and four horizontal" plan. The line will comprise a mixture of high-speed railway lines, upgraded conventional rail lines and intercity railways.
The Shanghai–Chongqing–Chengdu high-speed railway is a high-speed rail line under construction in China. The Chinese name of the railway line, Huyurong, is a combination of the abbreviations for Shanghai, Chongqing, and Chengdu. It will run in an east-west direction largely parallel to the Yangtze River, connecting the cities of Shanghai, Nanjing, Hefei, Wuhan, Chongqing and Chengdu.
Yinchuan–Xi'an high-speed railway, is a dual-track, electrified, high-speed rail line in Northwest China between Yinchuan and Xi'an. The line is the first railway to connect Qingyang to the Chinese railway network, and also the first railway to connect Ningxia and Yinchuan to the high-speed railway network.
China National Highway 566 runs from Xiji in Ningxia to Tianshui in Gansu. At Xiji, it connects to G309 and at Tianshui to G310. Most of the route consists of upgraded sections of Ningxia provincial highway S202 and Gansu provincial highways S305 and S218. It is one of the new trunk highways proposed in the China National Highway Network Planning.
China National Highway 338 will run from Haixing to Tianjun. It is one of the new trunk highways proposed in the China National Highway Network Planning.
China National Highway 331 (G331) runs along the northern Chinese border from Dandong, Liaoning to Altay, Xinjiang. Once fully completed it will be about 9,200 kilometres in length.
Line S5 is a planned rapid transit line connecting Nanjing and Yangzhou. It will be 57.61 kilometres (35.80 mi) long and have a maximum operating speed of 160 kilometres per hour (99 mph). Initially 4 car Type A trains will be used but the line is designed for expansion to 6 car trains in the future. The line will have passing loops at select stations allowing for express and local services to be offered. Local services are expected to take 45 minutes to run end to end and express services will shorten end to end travel times to 34 minutes. Construction started on December 28, 2021. The line is planned to open in 2026.
