The Western Water Catchment is a planning area located in the West Region of Singapore. It is the largest planning area by land area, covering nearly a tenth of Singapore Island. It is also one of the two main water catchments in Singapore, the other being Central Water Catchment.

The Al-Firdaus Mosque is a mosque in Choa Chu Kang, Singapore. This old generation mosque located in the West, at Jalan Ibadat, off Old Choa Chu Kang Road, was built in 1962. In 1999, the mosque, which serves the needs of the nearby residents, was rebuilt. Today, it can accommodate up to 200 people. There are religious classes for adults in the evening.

Choa Chu Kang Road is a road in Singapore in two sections.

The Branch MRT line was originally the third Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line in Singapore, initially operated as a branch to the existing East West line. The line was 6.5 kilometres (4.0 mi) long with four stations, and was operated by the SMRT Corporation. Travelling from one end of this line to the other end took about ten minutes, and the line was coloured brown and khaki on the rail map. The line is now part of the North South line, making it the only defunct line in Singapore.
