Marsiling Park, formerly Woodlands Town Garden, is a community park in Woodlands, Singapore, located at Woodlands Centre Road, adjacent to Bukit Timah Expressway.
In its last decade before its upgrading works in 2016, the park was infamously known for its vice activities. [1] Following the complaints from the residents whom lived nearby, the park was closed for upgrading in July 2016.
The park was renamed as Marsiling Park and reopened on 29 April 2018. [2]
The North–South Line (NSL) is a high-capacity Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line in Singapore, operated by SMRT Corporation. Coloured red on the Singapore rail map, the line is 45 kilometres (28 mi) long and serves 27 stations, 11 of which, between the Bishan and Marina South Pier stations, are underground. It runs from Jurong East station, located in Western Singapore, to Marina South Pier station in the Central Area, via Woodlands station in northern Singapore. The line operates for almost 20 hours a day, with headways of up to 1 to 2 minutes during peak hours and 5 to 8 minutes during off-peak hours. All the trains on the North–South Line run with a six-car formation.

East Coast Park is a beach and a park on the southeastern coast of Singapore. It stretches along the south of Marine Parade, Bedok, and Tampines. It was opened in the 1970s, after the Singapore government had completed reclaiming land off the coast at Katong, from Kallang to Changi. Themed "Recreation for All", it not only serves the needs of communities in the east, other Singapore residents do also visit the park for sports, recreation, and food.
Yew Tee is a residential area in the West Region of Singapore. Yew Tee is a cluster of Housing and Development Board flats and private condominiums, As a relatively new estate, a large proportion of its residents are young families and middle income earners. Yew Tee is under the Marsiling–Yew Tee Group Representation Constituency. The current Members of Parliament in the Marsiling—Yew Tee Town Council are Lawrence Wong, Alex Yam, Hany Soh and Zaqy Mohamad from the People's Action Party (PAP).
Woodlands Bus Interchange is a bus interchange in Singapore. Located in Woodlands, the interchange is linked to Woodlands MRT station and adjacent to Causeway Point shopping mall. It is the largest and among the busiest bus interchange in Singapore. The interchange is also known as Woodlands Integrated Transport Hub.
Kranji MRT station is an elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the North–South Line (NSL). Situated in Sungei Kadut, Singapore, along Woodlands Road, it serves the Singapore Turf Club and the Woodlands Wafer Fabrication Park. The station is operated by SMRT Trains.

Haw Par Villa is a theme park located along Pasir Panjang Road in Singapore. The park contains over 1,000 statues and 150 giant dioramas depicting scenes from Chinese Literature, folklore, legends, history, and statuary of key Chinese religions, Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. During the 1970s and 1980s, the park was a major local attraction; it is estimated that the park then welcomed at least 1 million annual visitors, and is considered as part of Singapore's cultural heritage. As of 2018, under the park's management firm, Journeys Pte Ltd, efforts to revitalise the park are ongoing with the holding of themed events and the planning and construction of ancillary museums.
The Rainbow Centre is a social service organisation in Singapore. It operates three special education schools Margaret Drive School (RCMDS), Yishun Park School (RCYPS) and a third one at Woodlands, for infants, children and youths with special needs like autism, intellectual disability, developmental delay, and multiple disabilities. The Rainbow Centre Margaret Drive School is located at Margaret Drive near Queenstown MRT station, while the Rainbow Centre Yishun Park School is located at Yishun Street 61 near Khatib MRT station. Both schools currently run special education programmes and early intervention programmes.
Admiralty is a subzone of the planning area of Sembawang, in the north of Singapore.
Prostitution in Singapore in itself is not illegal, but various prostitution-related activities are criminalized. This includes public solicitation, living on the earnings of a prostitute and maintaining a brothel. In practice, police unofficially tolerate and monitor a limited number of brothels. Woodlands Train Checkpoint is a railway station and border checkpoint in Woodlands, Singapore. Located close to the Malaysia–Singapore border, the station is owned by Singapore's Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and is operated by the Malaysian railway operator Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) in agreement with the Singaporean authorities.

The constituency encompasses Chua Chu Kang, Sungei Kadut Industrial Area, Kranji, Woodlands Checkpoint, and the west part of Woodlands. The four divisions of the GRC are Limbang, Marsiling, Woodgrove and Yew Tee managed by Marsiling—Yew Tee Town Council. The current Members of Parliament are Alex Yam, Hany Soh, Zaqy Mohamad and Lawrence Wong from the People's Action Party (PAP).
Hany Soh Hui Bin is a Singaporean politician and lawyer. A member of the governing People's Action Party (PAP), she has been the Member of Parliament (MP) representing the Woodgrove division of Marsiling–Yew Tee GRC since 2020.
