Choa Chu Kang, alternatively spelt as Chua Chu Kang and often abbreviated as CCK, is a planning area and residential town located at the north-westernmost point of the West Region of Singapore. The town shares borders with Sungei Kadut to the north, Tengah to the southwest, Bukit Batok to the southeast, Bukit Panjang to the east and the Western Water Catchment to the west. Choa Chu Kang New Town is separated into two portions by the Kranji Expressway.

Bukit Gombak is a subzone of Bukit Batok, Singapore. It is a hilly neighbourhood in the west-central area of the Southeast Asian city-state of Singapore. In the Malay language, bukit means hill and gombak a bunch or collection of something. The neighbourhood consists of two hills. One of them stands at 133m while the other stands at 113m. They are Singapore's second and third highest natural point after Bukit Timah Hill.
Bukit Gombak MRT station is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the North South line in Bukit Batok, Singapore. Located at the junction of Bukit Batok West Avenue 5 and Bukit Batok East Avenue 5, it is the nearest MRT station to the Bukit Batok Town Park, a scenic parkland otherwise known as "Little Guilin".
Bukit Batok Bus Interchange is an interchange bus station located at Block 631 Bukit Batok Central, Singapore, near West Mall Shopping Centre and Bukit Batok MRT station. The sheltered concourse is built underneath a multi-storey carpark similar in design to the old Serangoon Interchange.
The Jurong Group Representation Constituency is a five-member Group Representation Constituency located in the western area of Singapore. The GRC consists of a large section of Jurong, sections of Bukit Batok and areas near Upper Bukit Timah Road. The five divisions of the GRC: Bukit Batok East, Jurong Central, Taman Jurong, Jurong Spring and Clementi. The current MPs are Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Tan Wu Meng, Rahayu Mahzam, Shawn Huang and Xie Yao Quan from the People's Action Party (PAP).

The Bukit Batok Memorial is located on top of the tranquil Bukit Batok Hill upon which once stood two war memorials built by Australian POWs to commemorate the war dead of the Japanese and the Allies who fought during the decisive Battle of Bukit Timah in Singapore during the Second World War. The two memorials were destroyed after the war and only the road and stairs that used to lead to them mark its legacy today.

The Branch MRT line was originally the third Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line in Singapore, initially operated as a branch to the existing East West line. The line was 6.5 kilometres (4.0 mi) long with four stations, and was operated by the SMRT Corporation. Travelling from one end of this line to the other end took about ten minutes, and the line was coloured brown and khaki on the rail map. The line is now part of the North South line, making it the first and only defunct line in Singapore.
Bukit Batok Town Park is a nature park located in the precinct of Guilin in the town of Bukit Batok, Singapore. The park was created from a disused granite quarry. As such, it has a resemblance to the granite rock formations in Guilin, China. Hence it is also known as Little Guilin or Xiao Guilin among the Chinese.

Bukit Batok Central is a subzone of Bukit Batok. It is bounded by Bukit Batok West Avenue 6/3, Central, East Avenue 3/6.
A by-election for the Bukit Batok Single Member Constituency in Singapore was concluded on Polling Day of 7 May 2016, with Murali Pillai from the People's Action Party as the winning candidate. This followed the sudden resignation of incumbent Member of Parliament David Ong Kim Huat on 12 March 2016.
