Fairfield County is a county in the southwestern corner of the U.S. state of Connecticut, as well as its fastest-growing from 2010 to 2018 and largest in terms of population. As of the 2010 census, the county's population was 916,829, estimated to have increased by 3.6% to 949,921 in 2017, and decreased to 943,332 in 2019. The most populous county in the state, the county population represents a little over 25% of Connecticut's overall population and is one of its fastest-growing counties. The closest to the center of the New York metropolitan area, the county contains four of the state's largest cities–Bridgeport (1st), Stamford (3rd), Norwalk (6th), and Danbury (7th)–whose combined population of 433,368 is nearly half the county's total population.
New Haven County is a county in the south central part of the U.S. state of Connecticut. As of the 2010 census, the population was 862,477 making it the third-most populous county in Connecticut. Two of the state's largest cities, New Haven (2nd) and Waterbury (5th), are part of New Haven County.
Darien is a coastal town in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States 37 miles northeast of New York City. With a population of 21,000 and a land area of just under 13 square miles, it is the smallest town on Connecticut's "Gold Coast". It has the youngest population of any non-college town in Connecticut, a high rate of marriage, and high number of average children per household. Darien is also one of the wealthiest communities in the U.S.
Bethel is a census-designated place (CDP) in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. It comprises the primary village and surrounding residential land within the town of Bethel. As of the 2010 census, the population of the CDP was 9,549, out of 18,584 in the entire town.
Ascutney is an unincorporated village and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Weathersfield, Windsor County, Vermont, United States. It is located in the northeastern section of Weathersfield, in the portion of that town adjacent to Mount Ascutney, after which the village is named. As of the 2010 census, the population of the CDP was 540.
Interstate 95 (I-95) is the main north–south Interstate Highway on the East Coast of the United States, running in a general east–west compass direction for 111.57 miles (179.55 km) in Connecticut, from the New York state line to the Rhode Island state line. I-95 from Greenwich to East Lyme is part of the Connecticut Turnpike, during which it passes through the major cities of Stamford, Bridgeport, and New Haven. After leaving the turnpike in East Lyme, I-95 is known as the Jewish War Veterans Memorial Highway and passes through New London, Groton, and Mystic, before exiting the state through North Stonington at the Rhode Island border.
Falls Village is a village and census-designated place in the town of Canaan in Litchfield County, Connecticut, United States. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 538, out of 1,234 in the entire town of Canaan. Because Falls Village is the town center and principal constituent village in Canaan, the entire town is often referred to as "Falls Village". That usage also avoids confusion of the town with Canaan Village in the town of North Canaan, Connecticut, not far away. Falls Village derives its name from a waterfall, known as Great Falls, on the Housatonic River within the village.
Noroton Heights is a village and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Darien, Connecticut, United States. The community is located on Connecticut's Gold Coast. Located close to Long Island Sound, in the Connecticut panhandle, it is approximately 35 miles (56 km) northeast of Midtown Manhattan and immediately to the east of Stamford. As of the 2010 census, the CDP had a population of 7,916, at which time it included the area that is now part of the separate Noroton CDP.

Noroton is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Darien, Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. It occupies the southwest part of Darien, from the Metro-North Railroad in the north to Long Island Sound in the south. The southern half of the community occupies Noroton Neck, between Holly Pond to the west and the Goodwives River to the east. It is bordered to the west by the city of Stamford and to the east by the Tokeneke neighborhood of Darien. To the north is Noroton Heights.
Indian Field is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. It is in the southern part of the town, on a peninsula between Indian Harbor to the west and Cos Cob Harbor to the east. It extends south into Captain Harbor, an inlet of Long Island Sound, and it extends north as far as U.S. Route 1. Interstate 95 crosses the CDP, with access from Exit 4.
Tokeneke is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Darien, Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. It comprises the southeast part of the town, occupying several peninsulas and islands that extend into Long Island Sound, between the Goodwives River to the west and the Fivemile River to the east. It is bordered to the north by Darien Downtown and to the east by the city of Norwalk.
