The province of Central Kalimantan in Indonesia is divided into regencies which is turn are divided administratively into districts, known as Kecamantan.
The Provinces of Indonesia are the 34 largest subdivisions of the country and the highest tier of the local government. Provinces are further divided into regencies and cities, which are in turn subdivided into subdistricts (kecamatan).

Its population in 2010 was 329,646 and grow up in 2017 353,844 and its capital is Kuala Kapuas. In 2002, Pulang Pisau and Gunung Mas Regencies were carved out of Kapuas Regency's then 25 districts.
