The province of the West Kalimantan in Indonesia is divided into regencies which is turn are divided administratively into districts, known as Kecamatan.
The Provinces of Indonesia are the 34 largest subdivisions of the country and the highest tier of the local government. Provinces are further divided into regencies and cities, which are in turn subdivided into subdistricts (kecamatan).
West Kalimantan is a province of Indonesia. It is one of five Indonesian provinces in Kalimantan, the Indonesian part of the island of Borneo. Its capital city is Pontianak. The province has an area of 147,307 km² with a recorded 2010 census population of 4,395,983 . Ethnic groups include the Dayak, Malay, Chinese, Javanese, Bugis, and Madurese. The latest official estimate is 4,546,439. The borders of West Kalimantan roughly trace the mountain ranges surrounding the watershed of the Kapuas River, which drains most of the province. The province shares land borders with Central Kalimantan to the southeast, East Kalimantan to the east, and the Malaysian territory of Sarawak to the north.

Landak Regency is a regency of West Kalimantan province, Indonesia. It covers 8,915.10 km2 and had a population of 329,649 at the 2010 Census; the latest official estimate is 340,931. The principal town lies at Ngabang. Landak is also one of the four regencies in West Kalimantan, that is predominantly Catholic, the others being Sanggau, Sekadau, and Sintang.
Ketapang Regency is a regency in the south of the province of West Kalimantan, on the island of Borneo in Indonesia. Ketapang Regency occupies an area of 31,240.74 km², and at the census in 2010 it had 427,460 inhabitants following the splitting off of five districts in the north-west of the regency in 2007 to form the new North Kayong Regency; the latest official estimate is 442,090. The principal town lies at Ketapang.
Sintang Regency is a regency of West Kalimantan province of Indonesia. It covers an area of 21,638.2 km2, and had a population of 364,759 at the 2010 Census; the latest official estimate is 377,243. The principal town lies at Sintang.
Pontianak is the capital of the Indonesian province of West Kalimantan, founded by Syarif Abdurrahman Alkadrie as a capital of Sultanate of Kadriyah on 23 October 1771 / 14 Rajab 1185 AH. Syarif Abdurrahman Alkadrie developed Pontianak as a trading port on the island of Borneo, occupying an area of 107.82 km² in the delta of the Kapuas River. It is located on the equator, hence it is widely known as Kota Khatulistiwa. The city center is less than 3 kilometres (2 mi) south of the equator. Pontianak is the 26th largest city in Indonesia in terms of population, as well as the fifth largest city on the island of Borneo in terms of population after Samarinda, Banjarmasin, Kuching and Balikpapan.
The Kapuas River is a river in the Indonesian part of Borneo island, at the geographic center of Maritime Southeast Asia. At 1,143 kilometers (710 mi) in length, it is the longest river of Indonesia and one of the world's longest island rivers. It originates in the Müller mountain range at the center of the island and flows west into the South China Sea creating an extended marshy delta. The delta is located west-southwest of Pontianak, the capital of the West Kalimantan province. This Kapuas River should be distinguished from another Kapuas River, which starts on the other side of the same mountain range in central Borneo, but flows to the south, merging with the Barito River and discharging into the Java Sea.
Bengkayang Regency is a regency ("kabupaten") in West Kalimantan Province of Indonesia,. It was originally a part of Sambas Regency, but following the expansion of the population in that area, Sambas Regency was divided into Sambas Regency and Bengkayang Regency, and Singkawang City was subsequently cut out of Bengkayang Regency. The regency now covers an area of 5,075.48 km2, and had a population of 215,277 at the 2010 Census; the latest official estimate is 222,645.
Kapuas Hulu Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of the West Kalimantan province of Indonesia. The region is home to a diverse number of indigenous groups, including the Iban and the Silat. Towns along the Kapuas River include Sintang, Nanga Lebang, Nanga Ketungau, Nanga Silat, Semitau, Nanga Bunut, and Putussibau, the regency's administrative centre. It covers an area of 29,842 km2, and had a population of 222,160 at the 2010 Census; the latest official estimate is 229,764.

Sanggau Regency is a regency in West Kalimantan province of Indonesia. It is situated in the north-central part of the province, with an area of 12,857.80 km² and a population of 408,468 at the 2010 Census; the latest official estimate is 422,448. Alongside Landak Regency, Sekadau Regency, and Sintang Regency, Sanggau is one of the four West Kalimantan regencies that are predominantly Catholic.

Tebelian Airport is an airport located in the Sungai Tebelian district of the Sintang Regency of West Kalimantan, Indonesia. The airport was inaugurated on April 26, 2018. The airport replaced the functions Susilo Airport. The airport is located 14 kilometers from the Sintang city center. Besides the Sintang Regency, the airport also serves the Melawi Regency, Sekadau Regency, Sanggau Regency and the Kapuas Hulu Regency.
