As of the census [5] of 2000, there were 2,216 people, 745 households, and 625 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 195.8/km2 (507.4/mi2). There were 760 housing units at an average density of 67.1/km2 (174.0/mi2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.39% White, 0.09% Black or African American, 2.98% Asian, 0.05% from other races, and 0.50% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.04% of the population.
There were 745 households, out of which 45.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 74.6% were married couples living together, 6.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 16.1% were non-families. 14.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.97 and the average family size was 3.29.
