Evanswood is an unincorporated community in the town of Weyauwega, Waupaca County, Wisconsin, United States. [1] The community was named for an early settler named Evan Townsend, who became the first postmaster when the post office was established in September of 1854. [2]

Weyauwega is a town in Waupaca County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 627 at the 2000 census. The City of Weyauwega is located mostly within the town, though it is politically independent. The unincorporated communities of Evanswood and Gills Landing are also located in the town.
Waupaca County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2010 census, the population was 52,410. The county seat is Waupaca. The county was created in 1851 and organized in 1853. It is named after the Waupaca River, a Menominee language name meaning 'white sand bottom', 'pale water', or 'tomorrow river'.

Collins is an unincorporated census-designated place in the town of Rockland, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, United States, in the east central part of the state. Its zip code is 54207, although its post office is being studied for closure. As of the 2010 census, its population is 164. The Collins Marsh Wildlife Area is located east of the community. Wisconsin Highway 32 ran through the community; the route later became Wisconsin Highway 67 before it became County Highway W. County Highway JJ and the Wisconsin Central Ltd. railroad runs east–west through the community. Collins has an area of 0.496 square miles (1.28 km2), all of it land. The community was named for Sumner J. Collins, who was the general superintendent of the Wisconsin Central Railroad in the 1890s.
Terry Evanswood is a Merlin Award-winning professional magician who has appeared in live stage shows and on television throughout the United States as well as on international stages. He has performed professionally since the age of ten. Early in his career, Evanswood was awarded an entertainment scholarship to attend the Chavez College of Magic. In 1991, Evanswood became the youngest illusionist in history to perform at Hollywood's famed Magic Castle. Evanswood was presented with the Certificate of Excellence award, which was the first and only honor given by the American Museum of Magic.
