Farmers Security Bank, also known as the First Bank Building, is a historic bank building located at South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. It was built in 1915, and is a six-story, Commercial style dark brown brick building with terra cotta trim. It has a two-story rectangular plan, which forms an "H" on the four upper stories. [2] :25–26

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. [1] It is located in the West Washington Historic District.

The I & M Building, also known as Colfax Place, is a historic building located at 220 W. Colfax in South Bend, Indiana. It is located next to the Commercial Building. The building, which was built in 1929, originally housed the offices of the Indiana and Michigan Electric Company. The Art Deco building was designed by Austin & Shambleau. The seven-story building is faced in marble on its front first story, limestone on the remainder of its front, and brick on its sides. Terra cotta separates the building's front center windows through the fifth story, while stone with terra cotta features separate the side windows. The building is one of the few Art Deco structures in South Bend and the only "pure" example of the style within its downtown business district.

It was built in 1895, and is a two-story, transitional Queen Anne / Classical Revival style brick and limestone building. It features a recessed entrance, round turret topped by a conical roof, and a wide frieze band of garlands and torches. It was built to house the offices and laboratory for the South Bend Remedy Company, a mail order patent medicine business. It was moved to 501 W. Colfax Ave. in 1988, and then to 402 W. Washington St. in 2003.

It developed between about 1868 and 1947, and includes notable examples of Late Victorian style industrial architecture. The buildings are associated with the Singer Manufacturing Company and its successors. They include the original three-story, brick Singer Manufacturing Company building (1868), Singer Manufacturing Company / South Bend Lathe complex, and Singer Manufacturing Company Employees Club Room / Supply Building (1893).

The main plant was built in 1905, and is a large, irregularly shaped brick building with a four-story section. It features square corner towers and a crenellated parapet. A one-story, glass paneled storefront was added in the 1950s. A separate bottling works building was constructed in 1910.

The main building was built in 1912, and is a one-story, rectangular, Classical Revival style brick building. It has a red tile hipped roof and rests on a limestone foundation. It features a projecting entrance pavilion with a pedimented colonnade of four limestone Ionic order columns and limestone trimmed arched window openings.

Northern Indiana Gas and Electric Company Building, also known as the Roma Building, was a historic office building located at South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. It was built in 1915, and was a three-story, brick building sheathed in pink terra cotta. It featured a projecting cornice with brackets and modillions.
