Femina Miss India 2024 was the 60th edition of Femina Miss India pageant, marking its diamond jubilee, was held on October 16, 2024 in Mumbai, featuring 30 contestants representing all 29 states, including Delhi, along with a combined representative for the Union Territories. [1] [2] [3] [4] The full show will air on Doordarshan on November 10, 2024, and will also be available for streaming on the JioCinema OTT platform from the same date.
At the end of the event, Nandini Gupta of Rajasthan, the outgoing Femina Miss India 2023, crowned Nikita Porwal from Madhya Pradesh as the new Femina Miss India 2024. Nikita will now represent India at the 73rd Miss World pageant. [5]
Rekha Pandey from the Union Territory and Aayushi Dholakia from Gujarat were awarded the titles of first and second runners-up, respectively.

Following the format established in 2017, applications are invited on a state-by-state basis. These states are further categorized into five zones: East, North East, North, South, and West. After auditions are completed in each zone, finalists from each state will be announced. Subsequently, a state finalist will be declared at a zonal crowning ceremony. Finally, all 30 finalists will compete for the Miss World India title at the grand finale to be held in October 2024. [6] [7]
On July 27, 2024, the first zonal audition commenced with the North zone, held at Bennett University in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Fashion designers Mandira Wirk and Samant Chauhan, Happiness Coach Blossom Kochhar, Brand and Operations Head of the Miss India Organization Natasha Grover, and Mr India 2014 1st runner-up Puneet Beniwal were the members of the selection committee for the North zone audition. Femina Miss India Uttar Pradesh 2023, Tanya Sharma, hosted the audition day.
Femina Miss India officially announced on July 17th via its social media handle that the winner of Femina Miss India Uttar Pradesh 2024 would be revealed at the end of the North Zonal auditions. It was telecasted live on the official social media handle of Femina Miss India and Zoom TV [8] [9]
All zonal auditions concluded by August 11, 2024, featuring various members as jury members. The Top 5 state finalists were announced on Femina Miss India's social media platforms on August 12, 2024. These state finalists will then compete in multiple rounds of final interviews in Mumbai on August 13 and 14, 2024.
The state finalists, determined from the final auditions, are announced on August 17th for the North East and North states, and on August 18th for the East, South, West, and Union Territories via Femina Miss India's official social media handles. [10]

Miss India, also known as Femina Miss India, is a national beauty pageant in India that selects representatives to compete in the Miss World competition, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants. It is organized by Femina, a women's magazine published by The Times Group.
The administrative divisions of India are subnational administrative units of India; they are composed of a nested hierarchy of administrative divisions.
Femina Miss India South is a regional beauty pageant established in 2008 by the Times Group. Initially, it selected one representative from each of the five southern states: Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana to compete in the national Femina Miss India pageant. Starting in 2017, the format changed, with individual winners chosen from each state to represent their respective regions at the national level.
Femina Miss India Bangalore is a zonal beauty pageant in India. Winners compete in the Femina Miss India national pageant. Initially, it was started as a South Zonal competition, in which contestants from all South Indian States participated. In 2017, it was changed to Femina Miss India Karnataka. This event is part of a new format that is a state-wide competition introduced as Femina Miss India 2017. The winner from this pageant represents the state of Karnataka at the National level Femina Miss India contest.
Miss India Worldwide India is a national beauty pageant in India that sends its winner to Miss India Worldwide. The incumbent titleholder is Apeksha Porwal from Mumbai who was 1st runner-up in Miss India Worldwide 2015 held in Mumbai, India
Femina Miss India Delhi is beauty pageant in India whose winners compete nationally in Femina Miss India pageant. The first Femina Miss India Delhi was Meri jaanki of udairamsar. The reigning Femina Miss India Delhi is Sifti Singh. She represented Delhi at Femina Miss India 2024.

Femina Miss India 2017 was the 54th edition of the Femina Miss India beauty pageant held on 25 June 2017 at Yash Raj Films, Mumbai. Priyadarshini Chatterjee of Delhi crowned Manushi Chhillar of Haryana as her successor. Sana Dua of Jammu and Kashmir was crowned first runner up and Priyanka Kumari of Bihar was crowned second runner Up.

The 6th edition of Miss Diva took place on 31 August 2018. Top 19 contestants selected from all over the country competed in the pageant, who were mentored by Miss Universe 2000, Lara Dutta. At the end of the event, Miss Universe India 2017, Shraddha Shashidhar crowned Nehal Chudasama as her successor. She represented India at the 67th Miss Universe 2018 pageant held in Bangkok, Thailand on 16 December 2018. At the same event, Aditi Hundia was crowned as Miss Diva - Supranational 2018 and Roshni Sheoran was crowned as Runner-up. Miss Universe 2017, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters was a member of the jury. Miss Supranational 2017, Jenny Kim also graced the event. This was also the first miss diva pageant in which the finale was telecasted on the same day.

She represented the state of Haryana at the Femina Miss India 2018 pageant, where she was crowned as Femina Miss India Grand International 2018. Chaudhary represented India at Miss Grand International 2018 and was crowned as the first runner up.
Femina Miss India 2019 was the 56th edition of the Femina Miss India beauty pageant. It was held at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium, Mumbai on June 15, 2019, and was hosted by Karan Johar, Manish Paul and Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar. At the end of the event, Anukreethy Vas of Tamil Nadu crowned Suman Rao of Rajasthan as her successor. She represented India at Miss World 2019 in London and placed 2nd Runner Up.
Miss Diva 2020 was the 8th edition of the Miss Diva beauty pageant held on 22 February 2020. A total of 20 contestants were shortlisted from various auditions across the country. Vartika Singh crowned Adline Castelino as her successor and she represented India at Miss Universe 2020. Shefali Sood crowned Aavriti Choudhary as her successor and she represented India at Miss Supranational 2021. Miss Diva 2018 Runner up Roshni Sheoran crowned Neha Jaiswal as her successor. Anntonia Porsild, Miss Supranational 2019 graced the event. This was the first edition of Miss Diva under Liva Fluid Fashion.
Suman Ratan Singh Rao is an Indian model and beauty pageant title holder who was crowned Femina Miss India 2019. She represented India at the Miss World 2019 pageant in ExCeL London in United Kingdom, and was crowned as the 2nd runner-up and as Miss World Asia.
Femina Miss India 2020 was the 57th edition of the Femina Miss India beauty pageant. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire Femina Miss India contest was held digitally for the first time in the contest's history. The competition was divided into four stages, with the grand finale taking place on 10 February 2021 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Mumbai.

After a two-year hiatus, it was held on 15 April 2023 at Imphal, Manipur, with contestants from 29 states and a collective representative for all Union Territories adding up to 30 participants competed for the title.
